I told them i wanted to be there when they did the work. They showed up and did the work without letting me know. I couldn't even tell they did anything because the ribbons they tied on the bushes were still there - until i saw the bushes on the side of my house which were done totally wrong. They were trimmed on the wrong side so now i have a gaping area full of weeds showing but they tell me they are sure they will grow back eventually. They did come back and trim the bushes better in the back and on the side of the house but definitely not worth 1700-now i have to have spot with no grass and weeds i have to now pull.

The job was delayed, communication was poor throughout, and my property was damaged. The crew also left the work in an unacceptable condition as a completed job before I had to request them to correct the horrible planting (see photo). What professional company would leave a job like this? What's most frustrating is that I simply requested a $250 refund (about 20% of the total cost) to cover the damage. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was put through an unnecessarily difficult process. I ultimately paid the full invoice just to move on. This company used to provide reliable, high-quality service, which is why I stayed with them for so long. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Joe had to contact Nipsco to drop the utility lines for safe removal of the trees. He also had to pull back my chain link fence for closer access to the trees that he placed back upon completion. Cleanup and haul away were immaculate. I also appreciated the fact that Joe was in constant communication to let me know how things were progressing based on the instability of the weather.
