They gave me a quote of $490.00 for 14 vents. The service guy shows up and before even looking in my vents he states that my vents will between $45-$55, not $35.00 because I probably have more dirt inside the vents. I contacted the manager Thomas who stated they don't give estimates over the phone they always come out first, but that was never offered. Since they record all the calls, I told him to listen to the original call. A little while later he called me and asked me to do him a favor not to write the review. I declined. After about 10 minutes, they send me a text offering me $100.00 for the inconvenience. It felt more like they were offering me the money not to write the review. For some reason my original review with more detailed information was deleted. They did respond to the review stating that someone would be following up within 48 hours but that never happened either. They were very unprofessional and I would not recommend them. read more

Very responsive, came out same day. My dryer was taking 1hr to dry. Mike came out cleaned out vent in 15 minutes. My dryer is working normally now. They didn't try to upsell or overcharge. I requested this company, Bright Air Duct and Chimney to clean out the dryer vent. At the time of the request I was quoted a price conditioned on a subsequent inspection. If I agreed to the price at the inspection, the service would be performed. The so-called service was performed without my knowledge or approval. The technician said he blew out the lint, stating he had cleaned the vent and wanted $129. Although the Tumbtack listing says the company will take cash, check, credit card, the technician said they did not want to take a check, preferring a credit card instead.  I was also told that the pipe in the attic needed to be sealed and the area of the roof surrounding the vent needed to be repaired and sealed. The technician said we needed a deep clean for safety reasons and quoted $950. Realizing this was all a scam, I refused to pay. I since had Stanley Steemer come and clean the dryer vent. They actually brushed and vacuumed (sucked up) the lint. Before he started, when he took the lint cover off it was full of lint, which was supposedly blown out by Air Bright. The Stanley Steemer technician also showed me the attic pipe that was supposedly in need of sealing or repair and the only thing wrong with it was that the Air Bright technician left the pipe disconnected. What Stanley Steemer did was a deep clean, at the cost of $199 and NOT $950.  I requested Air Bright because of the so-called stellar reviews. They must be fake or the people I was dealing with must be posing as the Air Bright company because this was the most dishonest and fraudulent situation I have ever experienced. read more
