After trying to get it all setup and working for MONTHS I finally figured it was worth getting a professional. Let me just say--Jacob was extraordinary. I had an appointment scheduled with him and an appointment scheduled with Safe Home later today. I wanted to price compare and get a feel for if someone was just trying to upsell me or if they were genuine and listened to what I wanted. I am SO glad JSB was scheduled first because immediately, I knew this guy was an expert. He listened to what I wanted, didn't try to upsell me, and made some great recommendations based on his years of experience. He was even able to connect my electronic door locks to my new security system!! Not to mention that during this process, he identified that I have had my Wifi set up incorrectly for years (I had my router and my Orbi set up with the same username and password, so they were competing with each other rather than working together). So now, I not only have an EASY TO USE security system (which is what I wanted), but now my locks are managed from my phone, and my internet is working so much better, haha! When I responded that the next day worked for me, he confirmed asap. There were no reviews so I wasn't sure what to expect. He gave me a window of 2 hours (12-2). at 11:45 he texted for my address. By 12:30 he had arrived. Jose was respectful of my home the entire time he was there. He took care to cover his shoes prior to entering my home. He also introduced himself at the door. He greeted me with a smile. In less than 5 minutes he heard about our issue with the electric going out and what was going on and conversed with us about it. He gave us two options to address the issue, one of them being a full diagnostic costing $347. He walked us through the pros and cons of both options. He fixed the issue within 10 minutes. We are very pleased with the work done. We learned that this is he and his wife's business. He is licensed in North Carolina and serves the greater Charlotte area (we live in Harrisburg).
