My right headlight had been flickering which drove me nuts. I finally decided to get it checked out and did some research online. That's when I found Tony at Bright Auto Lights. As a female, getting car stuff taken care of is my worst nightmare. I'm always worried about getting ripped off/scammed. Tony was knowledgeable, genuine, professional, and kind. He gave me a thorough rundown of what was going on with my headlight. No salesman pitch or anything. I never felt intimidated and I could ask as many questions as I wanted. Service was quick, easy, and clean. I could immediately see the difference in quality with my new headlights. (The picture I took during the installation doesn't do it justice, but you can see the new light is brighter than the old one.) Tony was very responsive and was always on time. He kept his word on his availability and the time it would take to get the parts we needed. It's honestly kind of ridiculous how bright my lights are now--would definitely recommend him!!!

Tony installed OEM headlights (custom wiring) - New 6k D4S bulbs, and a new 6K HID fog light kit

I called Tony to see if he could help me with custom mounting an LED strip within my stock headlights. He told me he would special order the strip, and would call me to schedule an appointment after he receives the part. On the day of my appointment, Tony asked me what look I was trying to achieve. I told him I wanted my headlights to look like an OEM Lexus headlight. He convinced me to not move forward with the project. Knowing that he was talking his way out of a sale, I knew I was working with someone both professional and honest. Tony recommended that I purchase the OEM headlights that I wanted, and he would work on building custom wiring harnesses for each headlight. Fast forward a few weeks, my OEM headlights are ready to be installed. Take note that I had previously taken my vehicle to a local shop in San Jose, to install the following: D4S 8K Headlight Bulbs DRL 6K HID Conversion LED DRL Strip Fog Light 6K HID Conversion So as not to make this review too lengthy (I know...TOO late!), everything wired by this shop was a mess. Mind you, everything under my hood is covered, so whenever I drive off after an install, the only thing I know is that my headlights are functional. I was hoping that these installs were professionally done, but to my dismay, they were far from professional. Needless to say, I instructed Tony to pull out EVERYTHING that they installed. Lesson learned on my end. Always ask to see how things were installed after completion. This will not only save you time and money, but it will also give you peace of mind knowing that your vehicle's electrical system isn't compromised. My vehicle is now equipped with OEM headlights, new D4S bulbs, and a new HID kit for my fog lights. All of the wiring used for each install was nicely tucked and zipped tied to factory standards. I just wish I went to Bright Auto Lights first!

Tony was awesome! Contacted him and he arranged to meet us at home the same week. Explained everything to us and was so quick and knowledgeable about everything. Would definitely love to have his services again should there be any issues with our lights again. But everything looks wonderful.

Had an accident that damaged my headlights, and Tony had quick and amazing friendly service in repairing it for me! He even upgraded my lights to HID lights! Would highly recommend for any lighting issues you have!

Tony came out to my home to install an HID kit in my daughter's 2017 Fiat 500X. Took him about an hour. Beam pattern looks good for halogen projectors, but I will adjust the aim downward a bit to illuminate more of the street. Thank you!

Called him again to change my fog lights to HID and to install my after market backup camera. He did such a superb job and so clean, you can't see the wirings at all. He even connected our after market back up camera to our navigation. We highly recommend him if you need anything done about lights and wirings of your car.

Tony was very easy to work with and very convenient. He replaced the headlights to my Prius. Very reasonably priced.

If the HID headlights burn out, does he replace them? If yes, at what cost?

He does offer a warranty on parts, so he will replace a burnt bulb or ballast under warranty free of charge. If its outside of the warranty the price will vary based on the actual part being replaced.…

High-level summary:…read more Customer service (patience, friendliness) - 5/5 Technical knowledge - 5/5 Transparency - 5/5 Review: Given my previous experience with torn bushings at 57,000 miles and consistent premature wear-and-tear on my tires - replaced every 20,000 miles or so, partially due to my lowered car with a staggered wheel arrangement and poor alignment - over the lifetime of my 2018 Tesla Model 3 Performance, I wanted to take a preemptive approach at 125,000 miles in improving and preserving the functional performance by doing a suspension refresh. After doing extensive research on MPP suspension upgrades, I reached out to TDW Auto and sent a summary of my desired scope of work, my budget, and a request for feedback on whether I had the correct approach in addressing my concerns. From Will's first response, we had seamless back-and-forth conversations over E-mail and text to clarify the current setup of my car, highlight my major concerns, address these concerns with the proper MPP upgrades, and align on my budget, must-haves, and nice-to-haves. There was never once an upsell; only cautionary words of unnecessary upgrades for my use case, which is really just the daily work commute in a lowered setup for personal aesthetic purposes. My original request included MPP front upper control arms and rear traction arms with my Unplugged Performance lowering springs, along with swapping out the front lowering control arms and rear camber arms. However, Will explained that the FUCAs and traction arms served no improved performance for commuting, and that the existing springs were more of a budget-friendly fit that compromised on long-term performance due to its reliance on Tesla stock dampers. Instead, he recommended swapping out the springs for MPP coilovers, and replacing the toe arms in conjunction with the camber arms to improve upon long-term lowered car hardware wear-and-tear. I followed up with Will after our virtual exchanges to get his opinions in person. He took me out for a test ride with me in the passenger seat, immediately identifying that my dampers were squeaking noticeably and that hard cornering at highway speeds felt bumpier than it should. Additionally, he patiently answered all my technical questions over the hour I was there, and adjusted the quotation when I made the final decisions on the suspension refresh. Will was completely transparent about pricing: he categorized the costs by the "front" and "rear," clearly highlighting the number of hours required to replace the front control arms, coilovers, and rear camber and toe arms. Alignment was included in the coilover work as well as solid front lower control arm pressing. He was even able to slot me in his 2-3 weeks' booked schedule on short notice because I wanted to complete the suspension refresh before making a drive to Canada. I picked up my car today after leaving my car overnight, and am extremely satisfied with my decision and results. Special shoutout to Mike, who I believe is the other co-founder and technician who stayed late just to work on my car to meet my schedule!

TLDR: come wrap your car here if you want it to be wrapped by incompetent amateurs. And if you…read morecriticize their ppf work, they'll insist that they do "paint protection not paint perfection". Check the photos for just how badly they messed up our car, and ask yourself if this is what you want your car to look like. I initially visited this business in late 2025. I, like you and countless other prospective clients, saw that they are a well-reviewed and mature car wrap serving the Bay Area, and they are even certified Inozetek wrap dealers. Unfortunately, I had the (mis?)fortune of totaling my car that year and wasn't able to do the wrap with them. However, I held them in high regard and was eager to recommend the shop to all of my friends. When my boyfriend bought a Lotus Emira in the summer of 2026, I eagerly recommended that he bring his car to Carmodz, and so we brought the car together under my advice. We were greeted by Brandon. They had a GT3RS parked out front and he opened up the doors to let us inspect the corners. I let him know we were looking for a high quality wrap job, meaning tucking the wrap into all the edges and corners. This is where the miscommunication begins. He shows us the GT3RS, we compliment the corners and see that it's tucked well, and I remember distinctly saying that we're looking for this kind of quality. So we got around to pricing, and we agree on $4200. After a few hours of leaving it at the shop, we notice the car isn't being worked on, since there was no availability until the next week to start, so we took the car out with a $1000 down payment. The day after we get a facetime complaining about water spots. They demanded we pay them extra money to polish off the spots. My boyfriend said that we definitely wanted to address that before starting the wrap and that they should call us back with the actual quote (they called us without having a number of how much it would cost). After a few hours we found out they had already started the "polish" and said we would just have to pay. They quoted us a much higher number, and we said no you started working on our car without confirming the price, but we'll still pay $200. They messaged my boyfriend later telling him that they were mad he let me talk during the phone call, and that they only wanted to talk to him, not his partner, because it's not my car? So we leave them to continue with the job, letting them know that we would like the car for Monterey car week, but we never implied in any capacity to them that we would like the job to be rushed and compromise on quality for this specific event. The week leading up to the first weekend, they message us to say the car is ready. We show up, and find the car in this state (pictured). I run around the shop with my boyfriend, agitated that this has happened, and we express our frustration to the shop techs. Apparently the owners already left for Monterey car week. So absolutely we did not take delivery or make the rest of the payment. The shop techs seemed stressed and called Mario, who was very dismissive of our concerns. That night, Brandon calls my boyfriend. The same shpiel on the film being precut and not a custom "full lay", to which we were indignant that on the day we agreed to let them do the work, they heavily implied they would be doing a full lay on our car like the GT3RS, and conveniently forgot to clarify this until the wrap was on the car and it was too late to stop the work. And then, Brandon lays into my boyfriend, demanding to know what girl he brought to pick up the car, and demanding that communication needs to be between him and my boyfriend alone. Says he pulled the camera footage from the shop and saw us running around the car and like telling all the imperfections to the shop techs, who called Mario, to which Brandon is like, why are you talking to Mario, everything you do should be through me, now you got someone else involved and I look bad etc. So there are rules on who you can talk to in the shop now if you get your car wrapped here? We go in person to check on the car and sign their newly proposed contract, and both Mario and Brandon are there. Mario seems somewhat apologetic and they admit that they didn't check the car before it was released to us. They ended up being extremely rude to us so we end up taking the car back and going with someone else. *all of the photos posted were taken on my phone by me, and I was present for everything reported in this review *i wrote and stand behind every word of this review, this is my experience and no one else's
