It is really difficult to get into a electric SUV as someone who is barely 5'3" so we decided to buy some running boards. We were struggling to figure out how to install them ourselves so in came Silicon Valley Customs, who we found on Yelp! Eli was amazing and extremely accommodating. He met us at his shop at 9am for us to hand over our keys because we couldn't drop it off later in the day. He didn't say he couldn't help us or that we'd need to reschedule, instead he showed up himself and even let us take a peek at the cars the shop was working on. Luckily, the tech was able to finish installing the running boards for us by nighttime, even though they ran into some hiccups. Eli explained what was done and how they ensured that the running boards were very securely installed. Truly amazing work and excellent customer service. He is very honest with the work the shop does and recommended a couple other products to us but never pressured us to purchase anything. I found this place on a whim. It was time for me to do quite the amount of things. First remove a 3rd party wing on my car, install a replacement for a factory front lip that I broke during track day about 3 years ago, and get some wraps and painting done. So in my research, I found a a lot of shops as you would expect. Ended up choosing Silicon Valley Customs, mostly because it was close and in an area I was familiar with since I was a child. After some initial contact via text and phone calls, I setup my first appointment with SVC to bring the car in for some estimates and discuss what I was looking for. The owner was very accommodating and provided me many options for what I wanted to do. Mainly the removal of the spoiler and patching the holes that are leftover. He went over the many options they had and we managed to agree on the option that was best suited for me and my budget. No pushback and judgement at all. We also discussed the other options like installing a front lip replacement that I brought and asked for service on and wrapping the car. We came to an initial agreement and the appointment was set. And I left my replacement front lip with them to paint. Between this and the day of the appointment, I had some changes that I wanted to make to what was agreed on and the again, no problems there. Changes were accepted very easily. And for me, the big thing was, I wanted to wrap the antenna, which the owner mentioned wouldn't be an issue to do but would take longer. And I said no problem if it would take longer we don't have to do it. Unfortunately, the day came for the appointment and I fell sick out of nowhere. Kind of funny how that works right? So I gave the shop a call. The owner had no issues re-scheduling, wished me well and we agreed upon a new appointment. On the new appointment date, I came to drop off the car, it was quick and easy. They reconfirmed with me everything we discussed and I just left them my key. They had quite the few cars to work on that day as well so it took them a while to get to my car but the great thing was, they still managed to get my car back to me the same day I dropped it off. So when I came to get the car, I remember specifically that I didn't actually clear with them for doing the antenna. But they still did it anyway AND gave me the best price for it. Even though it took them much more time to wrap it because they had to remove alot of parts to get it. I REALLY appreciate them for that. Not only did they wrap what I really wanted even though I didn't specifically say, the owner gave me a SOLID price for it. That's the kicker here. All that work and still gave me a good price that even I would say is quite generous. Overall, I am more satisfied then I thought I would be. Brought my car into SVC to get the full works after Eli said he would match another shop's quote. This was for full body ppf, ceramic coat, and tint. There were a couple of rock chips that needed to be fixed so Eli's guy, Axel, asked for $1000 on top of the quote. Later I asked why so much and Eli said they had to do a full body paint correction. I find out later through research that other shops include paint correction as standard in their pricing for wraps or ceramic coating. Makes sense because who would clear wrap or ceramic coat over swirl marks and scratches? Obviously Eli's shop does because I noticed swirl marks on my rear spoiler after it had been ceramic coated. Eli said he took care of all rock chips but I still see one on front lower lip underneath the wrap. Also not sure why the rear spoiler or rear bumper was not wrapped with ppf since I asked for full body wrap. Eli also didn't want to ceramic coat my front grill saying it was too difficult. After I take my car home the first night, I noticed some unfinished work. Untrimmed wrap on the rear about an inch or two long hanging off the bumper. Uneven cuts on some edges. Scratch marks on my car from cutting the wrap. That was about all I saw the first time. I bring my car back and they trimmed the parts that were untrimmed, redid the wrap where edges weren't cut straight, and buffed out the scratch(which at the time looked fixed but then wasn't after I took it home and put a flashlight on it and still see the scratches there) They also redid the driver side window tint. So I take it back home the second time and just a note, it has been raining so my car just sits in the garage while everything is still curing. While in my garage checking out my car, I noticed damage to passenger side weather stripping and the two weather stripping on the roof are bent out of shape. I bring this to Eli's attention and he says he made a video and said the damage wasn't there. I asked Eli to show me the video and he didn't and told me to bring the car in so he can replace the passenger side weather stripping and double tape down the roof's weather stripping. So now I bring my car back for the second time to have these fix and also to fix some problems with the tint. Eli changes the passenger side weather stripping and double tapes the roof's weather stripping down(which still pops up at the corners) and for the tint, Eli decides to remove the tint and refund my money. That same night at Eli's shop I noticed a mark on my door panel. I thought maybe it was a little scuff mark or just dirty so I didn't mention it to Eli. After I got home, I looked closer and indeed it was scratched. I brought it up to Eli and asked him to check his security video and Eli showed that it was already there. That only proves it didn't happen that night but it could have happened the other times it was at his shop. My car is brand new and Eli's shop is the first place I brought it to. I am really careful even on how I step into my car trying to not drag my feet onto the door sill. The scratch may not have happened that night but there were two other occasions that it could have happened at Eli's shop. Today I took my car to get tinted by a new guy. Right off the bat I could see the difference in professionalism. This new tint guy prechecks my car and points out all the damages on the inside near and around the windows. I asked him if the other shop did it and he didn't want to say out of respect. But to me it is obvious Eli's crew did it. I bring these new damages up with Eli and he denies everything. At this point Eli is fed up with me. He was annoyed the first time I brought my car back because I was calling out his lies. Eli has a way of talking and has answers to everything. I asked him why he didn't precheck my car and he said he did with me. That was a lie. We never went through the whole car and checked off any previous damage. I asked why he did not take pictures of previous damages to protect himself and he went silent. Bottom line, I took my car in to get improved and left with damages to a almost brand new car I was trying to keep as new as possible. Eli was cool at the beginning and I was holding off writing a review until everything was fixed by Eli. But the instant he denied he was at fault, couldn't prove that these were previous damages, and went silent, I had no choice but to share my experience. Response to owner: Eli, please show these pictures you said you showed me. I would like to see them. Eli why you lying about me being dishonest with my quote from other shop and you were keeping quiet? I just added more pics to this review to back up what I say. It's been 6 months since I got my wife's car B pillar wrapped because the paint was fading (not Eli's fault, but Porsche for the shitty factory paint job). We started to notice the vinyl starting to have air bubbles in random area so we contact Eli. He was professional and squeezed us in for an appointment. He was able to inspect the air bubble and told me he's never seen anything like this before, along with his workers. They fixed the issue and I went on with my day. A few weeks later, more air bubbles started to show up so I contacted Eli again asking if it's something wrong with the vinyl? He ensured me it was and told me it could be the oxidation from the old paint causing this from behind the vinyl but wasn't sure cause this hasn't happened before. To ensure that the vinyl was good, he removed ALL the existing vinyl he did on the B pillar and installed a brand new vinyl wrap for me. I'm sitting here in the office now while they are finishing up the wrap but I have to say Eli and his team are amazing and the customer service couldn't be any better.
