Hands down, Lauren is incredible. She did her event in Rentals and I truly want to be her friend because she is so incredibly warm and caring and fantastic. We had a fifth wedding anniversary party that was disco themed. I've never planned something of this scale before on my own and Lauren held my hand and offered the best advice the entire way. She always had great suggestions when I would bring up some insane idea that I wanted to do I would find efficient way to execute it. On the day of the event, Lauren was fantastic and kept me calm. The drop off and pick up went incredibly well. I know that there are a lot of event rental companies in the NAPA area, but I would go in Bright every time. We rented the majority of our dinnerware from Bright for our July 2021 wedding. The Umbria flats and Tahoe flatware added such a masculine elegance to our tablescape. The pumpkin napkins also paired perfectly with our other linen selections. We enjoyed visiting their showroom and seeing many of these items in person before making our final selections. It was so helpful to mix and match to determine which combination worked best. They are one of the few vendors to deliver at this certain location, Ralston White Retreat, due to the long, tortuous, one-lane road to the venue. The equipment was delivered without issue. We used Bright Event Rentals for our wedding at Casa Romantica as it was the only choice for our venue. Unfortunately we did not have the best experience. When we initially went to the show room to pick our rentals we were given the wrong address by staff and we drove an hour to the wrong location. Throughout the back and forth prior to the wedding, there were many duplications and many unnecessary items. They also encouraged an $800 non-refundable "insurance" in case anything broke, yet none of the items we had surmounted to that cost. Even with our concerns, they did setup the venue very well. After the wedding day our caterers informed us that the bright event rental's stove burner was not working properly in order to prepare dinner. The caterer had to transport their food back to their restaurant to use their own ovens due to Bright Events broken ovens. read more

I will never use Bright again. For two years now we have had things go mssing after the guys who came to pick everything up arrived. This last time they were supposed to come pick it up between 9-5, we'd been told it would be in the afternoon actually, and yet they came at 8:15 am and no one was there to greet them, and a precious knife is gone and they left some things behind. Very sloppy. The quality of items was fine and the guys who dropped it off were good - but the pick up crew is not reliable. Bright refuses to ever hear it though and no reimbursement. Bright team - I can't express how much I appreciate every single one of you. From the moment I contacted the Bright team (Richard Earl - rockstar!), I was taken care of and knew my event would be in good hands. Planning a celebration for 800 people is not an easy feat, but they made sure every last detail of my rentals was planned to a T. The entire team I worked with on the design / planning side (Becky Connelly, Ana Stone & Megan Clark) ensured that everything would be taken care of and to say it was taken care of is an understatement. The customer first mentality that each member of the Bright team brings to the table is hard to find in an industry that is often thankless and full of long hours. I had last minute requests that were fulfilled immediately behind the scenes and an install team that put up and continually smiled at my inability to finalize the layout. Megan even ran back to the warehouse to personally pick up additional fabric that I had not originally requested to make sure that the event was up to the necessary caliber and all needs were met. I've always had great experiences with Bright, but this just set the bar even higher. On their website they show a photo of a tent for $125. It does not say "priced from $125", but rather a simple photo and a price. They waited until days before our event to tell us the price would be four times what was written on the website. Such dishonest business practices are unconscionable. Don't let them take advantage of you. Update: well, of anything proves the dishonesty of this company it is the fact that after I wrote my review they CHANGED the website!!! They should be thanking me, but instead they make some claim about me watching tv. Wine Country Party and Events handled our event needs and more. Andrea helped put together the look and feel of the event for us at Rutherford Ranch Winery. After delivery, the team was able to set up, break down and remove all within our adjusting schedule (rain and increased attendance). Just be sure to have all of the details ironed out before hand and review to ensure accuracy. We had a few items missing from the event that were missed on our end upon delivery of rentals. The only area we had an issue was when receiving the items, the delivery slip did not have certain items and some were missing from the sheet that we had ordered. Even though the miscommunication, WCPE was able to deliver day of and fix the mistake. I would strongly recommend for quality of product, customer service, and guidance along the event planning process. Pricing is very competitive as well. I plan to work with WCPE on all future events. Wedding rentals is not one of those things I got super excited about. The price just keeps going up and up and you're like what the heck, is this even worth it? Wine Country Party had a lot of selection and what worked out to be more reasonable prices than others in the area. We met with their staff twice to play around, and they were very accommodating and organized. They did not miss a thing on their proposals. For the record, I did not think the napkins or the chargers were worth it so I supplied my own. We did, however, do the upgraded wine glasses (we had to pay for basic ones anyway, so it wasn't much of a difference) and the gold-rimmed plates. Also, the gold damask tablecloths were stunning. No one seemed to be bothered by the silver utensils, thank goodness--the price of almost $300 for upgrades seemed ridiculous. Our table turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. I did not deal with WCP directly, as the caterer, Feast, did for a 20% upcharge. I'm glad I did not have to handle keeping inventory. The upcharge was worth the stress reflief. The only item that irked me a little--and I posted this for Feast as well--was that we had 63 guests, but they suggested ordering 70 of all the rentals to make sure we had extra in case something broke or got lost or whatever. I blame Feast as well as Wine Country Party for this. If we're paying a 20% upcharge, and you respect your business, you should build in to your plans the fact that dishes may be broken. You should NOT be supplying my guests with broken dishes; if I order a certain amount, I expect them to be in pristine condition. Unfortunately I think this is an industry standard but it's certainly one that should change. Overall I would recommend WCP as well as outsourcing the coordination aspect. read more

Bright is really the only rental game in town in Sonoma. Their selection of products is nicely varied, and at reasonable pricepoints. Just a warning... We rented "polyfold" chairs for an outdoor patio event. During the event two of the chairs collapsed sending me and my daughter to the ground. We actually found screws from the chairs on the patio. I am still dealing with bruising and hip pain, and we are very grateful that my daughter was not holding her five month old baby at the time of her incident. We were credited the cost of the chair rental and the delivery fee. Hopefully they will take a bit more time to check their equipment before they turn it around. read more

Pros: Beautiful products and in excellent condition, it had all the colors I was looking for in linens. Delivery was reasonably priced as well as equipment. Cons: Some rude receptionists over the phone, lacks communication between dispatch and consultants. Charges for items "lost" when inventory did not do a thorough check of the crates. Very stressful to deal with. My now husband and I rented equipment with Bright for our wedding because of their beautiful products and amazing reviews. We met with a couple of amazing people, not all of them were rude, in person and over the phone who would sympathize with the stress of coordinating a wedding. They helped us along the way, and everything was amazing until the day before our wedding. Delivery was there before our venue even opened. The workers who delivered the stuff were friendly, and they seemed as overwhelmed as us. I had called the day before and was told to call Bright in the morning to let them know when our venue was open so they could deliver, however this didn't seem to have been told to dispatch. There was miscommunication on both ends. So we had to rush to get the venue opened, extra cash. Then on pick up day, I had called to ask when they would arrive to pick up the equipment. A very rude woman whom I hadn't spoken to before said somewhere between 2-5pm, I asked if they could come earlier since the venue was booked up for another event that afternoon. After this question she rudely said "well, i guess you should've paid the extra fee, shouldn't you?" As a bride on that special day with tons of stress, this upset me. You don't want to be upset after your wedding. It was like she didn't even want to deal with me at all, and all I had asked was if they could come earlier. A simple " I'm sorry, but it appears the pick up time cannot be changed" would've been enough. Its called customer service. We loaded all the china, glassware and tableware in the appropriate crates and cleaned them as best we could. We also placed linens in the blue bags, and placed them in the crate they arrived in along with lanterns. When the guys came to load everything, a man was counting the tables, he counted lanterns and then unloaded the 3 blue bags, asked what they where and placed all of them back in the crate. His team was very polite and friendly, I signed the invoice and off they went. Went on my 1 week honey moon and put all this behind me until on the third day of my honey moon I received an email stating all linens where missing and Id have to pay 1400$ if I didn't returned them within 7days. I tried fixing this over the phone as soon as I received the email, but the inventory coordinator did not answer. Tried the next day, and he was still off. You can imagine my frustration after I had seen their employee unload them from the crate, and place them back in on the day of pick up. He even said on that sane afternoon before I signed "It appears everything is here." I was devastated when I had to cut my honey moon short to go see Mr. Fontana (inventory coordinator) in person. I lost money in that as well, since the honeymoon was cut short without enough notice at the hotel. I am very disappointed, I was under the impression Bright was amazing and would make my wedding terrific. It was the opposite of that, very sad and stressful, not to mention frustrating. I love the products, their quality is great and clean and there were very friendly people such as Lola and Carrie, however to me it was not worth the tears, frustration and above all, disappointment during my wedding. If you do book with Bright, try to deal only with Lola and Carrie, and have them unload equipment in the presence of the inventory coordinator as well as yours. And good luck to you on your special day. Revised 9-14-17: We met with Mr.Fontana in person. He was very friendly and apologetic about the 1400$ being charged. Kiara and Miriam really went above and beyond to get our event set. They were literally the only company who showed up on time for the initial site survey, and when I didn't move fast enough to secure the tents I wanted they came up with a plan to purchase more in time for the event or to provide similar tenting with their existing stock. Either would have been fine, but everything came through. They were on time to install and on time to pick up everything. Plus the quality of the tents was much better than what I've come to expect from other companies. They were patient and professional with me when I had to keep changing the pickup date, and I would highly, HIGHLY recommend working with them again. WCP has some lovely rental items and although our event looked beautiful we had some frustrations along the way. We spent over $4000 for one day of rentals, the drivers showed up late and were found to be down the street eating and hanging out 45 minutes after they were due to deliver. The pick up time was set for 9pm and they arrived near 11pm and disturbed the neighborhood until 1am. After clear instructions from the wedding coordinator and myself- the bride... they left behind a ton of items that I had to deal with on my honeymoon because they needed them for another event. The generator we rented which was to power our wedding did NOT work and delayed our ceremony. When we called the company was dishonest about the time it would take to send out a technician and due to my father-in-laws over achieving attitude we had enough extension cord to string out to the ceremony and carry on. After all of this we received some letters of apology and I made a phone call to the company. Julie who we worked with reimbursed us "at no additional cost" for the generator and only half of the Over Time charges which panned out to be $200. I am not one to finagle what I can out of people and after all the frustration and stress this company caused I expected more than an e-mail and $200. It turned out to be the biggest stressor during our special day, not to mention the few days after, and I am disappointed in the delivery and pick up performance. Julie seemed to empathize with us and the stress we endured. If you have the time to lose and stress they are definitely worth it, our set up was beautiful. read more

Of all of our vendors for our wedding, unfortunately working with WCP was our worst vendor experience. We worked with Kate and to get a response often took weeks and multiple requests. Kate added hundreds of dollars of items (over $500) to our contract without even letting us know - thankfully we were reviewing it diligently and caught the additions.The awful thing is she did this days before our wedding and was a mess to deal with right before our wedding. We had to involve our planner and it took multiple emails to get her to remove the items. Kate is so disorganized that she will not remember what was decided and so it is a constant battle to communicate and to get the right items on the contract. She does not work to bring any expertise to the table - for instance we gave her very specific electric requirements and instead of finding out what we really need for generators, she just added another $900 generator to our contract (this is in addition to all the other items she added). We had to reach out to someone else at WCP and low and behold we did not need as expensive of a generator as what she recommended. Her demeanor is also not particularly friendly or professional. WCP's linen samples were also mis-marked and the only reason we ended up with the correct linens is that we happened to be looking through one of WCP's linen books at Alex's Catering (they area GREAT caterer by the way) and noticed the color we had chosen with the samples was actually wrong. I know there are not a lot of rental vendors to chose from, but I would definitely NOT work with WCP. They are not any cheaper than the competition (and actually more expensive in many cases), but I can't imagine worse customer service. read more

Wine Country Party is a terrific operation! I have worked with them on many of my wedding events in Napa and Sonoma Counties. They have fantastic sales staff... knowledgeable, enthusiastic about event design, creative and responsive. They are also very conscientious about rental details and I feel they are always "watching my back." Rental orders, as a rule, tend to be very complicated and it is easy to leave off important items. In the rustic settings in which we work around here, it is important to have sales people who really know the venues and who are aware of the special needs of the setting. You'll also find that the furniture and tabletop styles they carry are appropriate stylistically for the region's settings. I am looking forward to working with WCP again this season. Wine Country provided the furniture, linens, glasses, silverware, and lighting for my recent (Spring 2010) wedding. We were originally working with another rental company and things were not going well. They didn't understand what we were looking for and just a few weeks before the wedding, we found out they didn't have the furniture (tables and chairs) we wanted. In a panic, we called around every other event company and were lucky to reach Becca at Wine Country. She was extremely responsive, understood what we were looking for, and in a matter of days turned around a quote that beat the other company. It was a lifesaver and we especially appreciate the effort they put in to get us all the pieces we needed--even sending a van to collect a few remaining items from a different event and deliver them to us the day of our wedding.
