Very Rude worker today! Being a non lazy person and not wanting to wait what seems hours for grass to be removed from walk ways I sweep in front of my apartment. Actually I do this about 3 times a week to keep things nice. The Crew See's me doing this, not a small section, I go to the end, so clearly she to half of the area I'm at. This guy comes in from the other way and blows grass where He & other staff have seen me just sweep. Why? What's the reason for the rudeness? Secondly Please invest in a mulching push mower, these folks are using weed eaters to burn down an odd kinda triangle spot where the big mower don't fit. When I first asked maintenance about it, they thought it was from people's dogs. Well their not burning it down as close as they were but I sure wouldn't have pride in the job. It's very important to take pride in your job no matter what it is. It's only you making you & your company look bad. I've been asked for referrals for this work, I have Never given this companies name. Hope you get a better staff next year with some common sense, maybe do around one unit and get rid of grass before moving on? Hell if I want to track it in! This is the only service company I've dealt with in my 80+ years who required a 1/2 payment before they even show up. They did not do a thorough job of cleaning up the flower beds. They chopped things off an left a lot of refuse behind. If it didn't blow out, they just left it. In addition, the man who came to see about the work ahead of time, came with the workers for just a few minutes the day of the work and then left. Consequently, they did not do all the work that we paid for. When I asked them, they said, "The boss didn't tell us to do that." I wouldn't hire them again. read more

Awesome work done by an awesome two-guy crew. The new duplex I bought had a poorly maintained front, side and rear lawn and beds. The beds were full of weeds and random rocks, sticks, branches and bricks. I asked Brandon S. at BGL to come by and take a look and he came the next morning to review my problems and give me an estimate. After agreeing on a price and work to be done, they came by a few weeks later to do the job. They stripped the current beds and replaced the debris with pretty black mulch and edged them up nicely. I also had a large tree in my backyard that was overgrown and hanging over my patio/roof and neighbor's fence. They did an amazing job trimming it up while keeping it balanced. I now get more sunlight through my sliding doors! Then they cleaned up and hauled away all the crap they had to remove from my property. They came around 830a and was all done by 130p. I hired Bright Green last fall to remove mint, daylillies, instal pond rock, and clean up some bushes and trees. Originally I was incredibly happy with the service. Everything looked great...until the spring. I was fully aware that some mint may return due to the invasive nature of the plant. But I was told by Brandon that if it came back there would be very little. The mint is almost just as bad as last year and has even sprouted in areas far from where it was before. Additionally I have had to remove the daylillies as well as they too returned. I spoke to Brandon and his only solution was to come back and give me another quote. He did not stand behind his work from the fall. He didn't even want to see how much mint had grown back, he just wanted me to pay for the service again. I had planned on hiring this company yearly for cleanup but won't be doing that now. read more

After making an in-person evaluation, providing a rough estimate and agreeing to complete my patio project over email, the manager completely stopped communicating. He kept delaying the project date for weeks at a time. There were three days of bad weather, so I understood a few days delay was likely, but not weeks. He requested a signed contract which I told him I would be happy to return if he could offer confirmation of the project details and dates. No response. He failed to respond to three voice mails and three follow up emails (over the course of 2 weeks). I sent one final message trying to give him the benefit of the doubt (in the chance that there was illness or something involved) but still received no response. Now two months later, I'm back at square one. If this is standard practice for this company then it is something I would avoid. read more
