Had them install additional panels for use and the inverter they installed broke within a month of the installation. We had to tell them it was broken and after 2 months we are still waiting for them to install the replacement. Meanwhile we are not getting solar for our electricity and paying a pretty Penny to APS. Brite Home did a nice job with our solar system. They were quick and clean and priced well. I was disappointed that they did not suggest bird wire as less than a year later we had pigeons nesting under our panels and had to clean and install wire. Just do it at time of install. They do not provide monitoring so your on your own to ensure your system is working as designed. If I had the choice I would have gone with micro inverters. We contracted with bright home and they have not lived up to their sales pitch. They were responsible to get approval from our HOA prior to installation. They didn't even contact the HOA until we refused to move forward without an approval. They said it was because they were doing "credit checks". Impossible since I am a cash customer. They worked on my roof for the installation and represented that all broken tiles had been replaced. When an inspector came after them they found that there were broken tiles which they had poorly attempted to fix. When we notified them of the issue they made excuses and told us they would not pay for a new inspection after they came back to fix their mistake. They expected us to take their word that the work had been done. Clearly that was not acceptable. There person "in charge" Chris Arroyo didn't even have the authority to make the decision. They later agreed to pay after I let them know of my intent to call the registrar of contractors. Lastly, part of the installation crew showed up stoned. Not what I consider safe for work on a roof. There are so many choices for solar, don't make the same bad choice I did. In my experience with them they have done their job poorly, lied and had delays that were secondary to their poor performance. ALL of my claims can be backed up with 3rd party inspections After reading their rebuttal we should leave it up to the customers. As far as being rude. When someone shows up on your roof unannounced they should expect an issue. I was not notified of their arrival and make no mistake they were working for the company not me. I requested to be called before anyone comes to my house. I'm sure most people will Believe a homeowner with pictures and a home inspection rather than a solar company with a crew that comes stoned. A homeowner that pays cash for his purchase or a door to door salesman that underperforms! Maybe you should spend a little more time managing your employees instead of making excuses. The timeline I provided is correct with information directly from the HOA documenting your lack of attention to the approval! I called the HOA and they had no submission from you until I called them. I didn't solicit you company, you showed up on my door so any time that I gave your sales man he should appreciate. He did just show up at my door unannounced. You are correct that I do post both good and bad reviews. When a business performs poorly it is the best way to protect other consumers. It is also a way to get the attention of "management" which this certainly did. I will make sure any and all potential clients in my neighborhood know of my experience. BrightHome does not honor their commitments. They through their salesman under the bus on a promise the company made to pay for 6 months of payments. The woman i spoke to in the office just through the salesman under the bus and told me the salesman made the promise of 6 months of payments and BrightHome didn't have to honor the arrangement. They said it has to come from the salesman. I said the salesman represents BrightHome and BrightHome should be responsible for the arrangement their salesman agreed too. We hired Bright Homes to install our solar system. A selling point was their 5.0 BBB rating. They did a good job with the installation and kept us informed all throughout the process. There were a few hiccups along the way, mainly due to our electrical box, but all and all it was a good experience. Why I gave them three stars is because of the finance company they sold our account to. Make sure you do your due diligence if you have to finance you solar through Bright Homes. The company they set us up with was Mosaic. Without going into detail of our specific situation (checking account was hacked) I discovered three months into our payment schedule and after numberous phone calls with different Mosaic employees that they have a 3.3 BBB rating with over 500 complaints in the last 3-years and a 2.1 Yelp rating. This is definitely not a financing company I would have chosen if I had the option of chosing one. Luckily I am in a position that I can pay my solar in full and will be doing so today now that everything has been addressed with my account. Please do your due diligence in checking out which solar finance company you are being set up with. read more

Great choice of company to work with for your solar needs. My solar was installed in mid-2022. When I initially met with their representative, they took me through the process, clearly outling what to expect. Bright Home worked with APS to get the necesssary approvals and installed the system very quickly after APS gave the go ahead. I have had the need to contact them a couple more times with my various questions and always found their customer service to be very customer focused. I am happy to say the system is working as expected and my end of July APS bill is -$8.13. The experience with Bright Home itself was very good. From the salesperson to the account manager to the technician and the install team. Everything was seamless and I was kept in the loop about the progress throughout. The team was there to answer my questions - Rhiannon, my account manager made sure to call me regularly to update me on progress. My only area I want to suggest for improvement is Bright Home Energy needs to be more involved into checking the work of the roofing sub-contractors. The subcontractor failed to properly do the job as agreed to by Bright Home Energy to fix my flat room, and we had to have them come back three times before they got it completed. read more

The panels are sleek and are top notch. They are all black with none of the white lines those older ones have so they look really cool.
