After speaking with several solar companies and doing quite a bit of online research, I quickly realized how easy it is to get spooked by horror stories, especially from companies that overpromise and underdeliver. Many solar sales reps will say whatever it takes to close a deal. I met with Mark in April 2025, and from the very beginning, I felt completely at ease, zero pressure. He came to our home with a well-prepared proposal in hand. After taking a few days to run the numbers and do my homework, I decided to move forward. We had 25 panels installed on our home, which we purchased in October 2024. The only slight adjustment came after installation: one panel's placement caused our expected annual energy production to drop by about 8%, from 20,759 kWh to 19,112 kWh. That was clearly explained and handled professionally. Once the project kicked off, Buddy stepped in as the project manager and was outstanding. He and the entire crew were professional, punctual, and worked hard, even in the Arizona heat. They took care of everything, from permits to coordinating with APS, the HOA, and the City of Phoenix. Any time I had a question, both Mark and Buddy were responsive and flexible. We were initially told the system would be installed and operational between July 2 and August 31, 2025. Impressively, it was fully up and running by July 7. Just in time for the heat! There's a reason this company has such great reviews, they've earned them through hard work and exceptional service. He examined the property and our usage, then politely told us he could help. We were paying $289 a month on the APS Equalizer program. and he assured us our bill would go down significantly.Anthony explained his 25 year warranty, being able to watch the panels output on my own computer and we were sold. We have renovated the entire house, added 500 sq ft of prime Master bedroom suite and renovated an add on porch to full time laundry/work area. We also added a second small A/C Heater for this room. We compared three solar companies that had very high reviews in Yelp. We selected Aneva Solar because of price, quality of equipment and least amount of sales pressure. Steve was very informative and explained the process, program and answered all of our questions. There was no sales pressure at all. I believe he is salaried. The system was over $20,000 less than one of the other highly rated solar companies. But Aneva Solar offered the highest quality of equipment--Meyer Burger panels and Enphase equipment. They connected us to a financing company for us to purchase the system. The interest rate of 3.99% was extremely attractive. This part of the process was very seamless and easy as well. Great communication for each company and part of the process. Aneva Solar calculated the number of panels so that we do not pay an APS bill and actually receive money at the end of each year. The installation process went very smoothly. Chris, who is the supervisor over the installation, was very easy to work with. He's very calm, but efficient and thoroughly knowledgeable. They passed the city permitting and APS inspections easily. The city inspector mentioned how great the installation was compared to other solar providers. The system is now up and running. Everything is going well. It will be a little time before we see what our savings are. They will come back in 90 days to go over everything and make sure that the system is working properly and that the savings are what they predicted. Their warranty is 25 years on the equipment, 10 years on roof penetrations-- warranted against leakage, and even gave us a guarantee on their predictions for cost savings. We chose to install solar in an effort to lessen hydrocarbons released into the atmosphere. A very exacting friend recommended Aneva, and we checked its references and reviews to confirm. Our system is now up and running. There were a few inevitable kinks with the installation of what we call our "power plant," but frankly we have been really happy with the tenacity of the Aneva Solar folks in troubleshooting and fixing everything. We are satisfied with the quality of their work. Much like everyone on here, I read the reviews, and I thought to myself this is the company to go with. They definitely put their best foot forward at the start with getting the owners involved to sell you the system. To me, the real sign of a good company is how they handle any issues that come up. You will never have a $30k project without any issues. But with Aneva, anything that came up was taken care of above and beyond. I was paired up with Herb for getting a quote, and being I was in a newly built home, there was no usage history. There was a lot of back and forth on trying to figure out the "right" size system. From their estimates they thought I needed a much larger system than what I thought I needed, and we ended up meeting half way in the middle. Herb was easy to work with and spit out a lot of revisions until we came up with the "right" system for me. Then came Chris the project manager for my job, and he went above and beyond to make my install a success. He had a great plan on where to install to maximize production and hide as much of the conduit as possible. The install guys, and especially the point man Ed, did a great job. Ed is a real asset to the company. Check out how clean the side of my house looks. The install was finished Thursday afternoon, and Friday morning the city approved it. Less than three weeks later, my system was live and producing. Kudos! Now I can't wait for the three month follow-up appointment to review the bills, to see where my production sits. Aneva solar installed my system 7 years ago. I received a phone call from them stating that they noticed an issue with one of my panels and wanted to setup a time to investigate the issue. It was discovered that one panel was producing about 50% of what should be expected. Aneva initiated the warranty process and coordinated the replacement at no cost to me. Impressive that they proactively noticed the issue before I did and handled the warranty replacement. You hear horror stories on company's not responding after they have cashed the check.
