It seems as though everyday, the team is just trying to "make it through the day". Every morning at drop-off, the toddler and infant classrooms are clearly over ratio and chaotic. There are constant teacher callouts. My daughter's teacher is out numerous times a week for one reason or another. This forces my child to be placed in a different room, proving that there is no consistency. The teachers that do show up everyday, are CLEARLY burnt out. I feel bad for them. Additionally, a majority of the staff lack any educational expertise and seem to view this job as glorified babysitting. Management seems to hire anyone who walks through the door just so they can enroll more families and make more money. This puts a heavy burden on the good staff. No quality curriculum is taking place. My kids never come home with any artwork or projects. The kids are just not learning anything. The center is filthy. I don't think anyone knows how to sweep or mop. I have had to step through my child's classroom to get their backpack and I am disgusted with the state of the classrooms. I truly believe the teachers are so burnt out, they are just too tired to clean. And it shows. There are a handful of wonderful teachers who seem to care about the kids; but unfortunately, that is way overshadowed by the negative vibes in this place. There is a child in my son's preschool classroom (Kairo is the child's name) that has extremely aggressive and violent behavior. My child fears going to class because of him. I have spoken with the Director Heather numerous times about this and it seems nothing is being done and my concerns are being pushed aside. This child needs special help that he cannot get in a large group setting. I know multiple parents have the same concerns about this child. I am in search of another daycare and soon as I get a spot, I will be dis-enrolling immediately.

I then waited for almost 15 minutes while there was the constant sound of crying children, but no one came to the front area and no one was visible in either the office or kindergarten area (again, this was after I had rang the doorbell requesting entry). Finally, I gave up and just left, never having the ability to speak with anyone. Perhaps this was unusual, but it doesn't inspire confidence in me and does not make me feel comfortable with the idea of leaving my daughter at this center.

I was worried about sending a five month old to daycare so early but the kindness and attentiveness of the teachers here made it much easier on me. This particular location has a full kitchen and they provide breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks which is a huge help for busy parents. They also have playgrounds based on the child's age and the teachers love getting the kids outside in the fresh air. Every day they play games, sing songs and create art work that are all tied to learning. It is more of a school than a day care and they have a great curriculum that they share with parents so we can include the same topics at home. The staff is wonderful. They are all very kind and they truly care about the kids and parents. It is also extremely clean. They also released a mobile app that I get updates and pictures of him throughout the day. Special thanks to the children who joined us in the first show to play tambourines, maracas, and drumsticks. In the second show for older children, others volunteered to demonstrate their new ventriloquial skills after choosing a puppet of their choice from the big drum case. Volunteers were encouraged to say their first name into the microphone and try moving the puppet's mouth three times as they said "One, Two, Three" with their new puppet voice. Special thanks to Mr. Jarod, the teacher who volunteered to be our HUMAN DUMMY! He wore our ventriloquist face mask, played the "ringy, dingy, thingy" and "sang" our "No Bully Zone" original song with Chelsea The Chimpanzee. (No, they did not sing at the same time... we're not that good!)

She was super quick to respond to our emails and questions, very friendly, and very competent. We also liked the majority of teachers that we met who interacted with our child. The only complaint we made during our time there was that during drop-off and pick-up things always seemed a bit more hectic than they needed to be -- it seemed like having another teacher in there during that time would have helped. The other challenge was teacher turnover, though I imagine this is fairly common at any daycare center. Of the 12 or so teachers we met, five moved on in the year that we were there. Luckily they ended up being replaced by other great teachers. Our only reason for leaving is that a 10% discount on two children was still much higher than us just hiring a nanny.
