They didn't seem to realize the people in the waiting room could hear their casual conversation. They also don't seem to know basic manners in terms of addressing patients using formal titles and last names, just assuming an informal first name use, and raising their voices to talk to anyone middle aged or older as if assuming dementia. I understand that it's hard to keep staff on hand, and no one has time to train front-end workers in civility and proper manners, the quality of the screening is what is truly important.

Despite being told otherwise by the insurance company and the doctor's office, OBSC insists that the parents are on the hook for money they are not. They flat out do not care, because they know that parents will travel across the country for this treatment, and if they have to get more than one treatment, OBSC can hold off the scheduling of future treatments over the parents' heads until the Center has properly shaken down the parents. Even after being told by the insurance company in no uncertain terms that OBSC is wrong for doing so. It's shameful. Or, as they told us this week, "it's a business."

She explains the procedure very well. She lets you know that there are intervals where you can talk to her and move around. I had to scratch my nose, so she guided my hand to my nose. The actual bedding seemed like foam, comfy. She put a wedge under my legs to help the lower back. My MRI was for my neck and the device wasn't intimidating. What I laid my neck on was sorta like a U shaped pillow. Then like a grill, sorta like a football player wears was open, is put on your face, not confining at all. Added plus I got to listen to Yanni's music. I texted my doctor, if I ever need a MRI again, I definitely want to go there. Update: As comforting as they were the MRI my orthopedic doctor said the CD wasn't done well. This really upsets me, because he said if therapy doesn't help I'll need to go to a different place to get another MRI. it upsets me because I'm claustrophobic I needed to be sedated for the Bloomingdale MRI and now I have to go through this again.

She took care of everything, told me I was second & directed me where to go. No one was called in until 8:10am. The woman they called in first came after me and the other woman. Then, 3 more people went in (1 being the woman ahead of me & 2 individuals that arrived afterwards). I checked in with the front desk to see why I hadn't been called. Debra inquired. They called me next. The male nurse took my vitals and was friendly. After he left though, I wanted in the room to see a doctor for another 15 minutes. Checked with the desk; they said someone would be in soon and that there was someone with an emergency they had to attend to first. Doctor saw me for 5 maybe 10 mins max. She was nice. I just really hate how long the entire process took and was charge $50 for all that waiting and such short time seeing the provider. Considering I arrived early and was the second in line, this shouldn't taken as long as it did. I get that medical offices are understaffed; however, the fact that people were called in before me who arrived afterwards, that's unfair. Walk ins should be seen according to the order in which they arrived. I'd give this a one star review if it wasn't for the friendliness of the staff.

We had trouble getting there, but I think that was related to our phone GPS. First we ended up at a carwash, and then a business strip mall. FInally we decided to call and the woman that answered was very friendly, had a good sensor of humor and was able to guide us to the correct location. Luckily we were nearby. It is near the Target and there is a liquor store nearby! Razan was immediately warm when we walked in and she quickly got us back into the ultrasound room. I have been going to Dupage Imaging for the past 20 years, a majority of my appointments were when…read moreI was diagnosed with Hodgekin's Disease back in 1993. I recently had to have a Thyroid ultrasound, due to a preventative test done at work, along with my past history involving radiation treatments. Had the ultrasound and received the report. I told the technician about my medical history, including the fact that I had radiation to the chest and neck area. The report itself is not detailed in the least bit, and only notes the reason for the scan was a preventative screening I had. There wasn't any notation about the radiation treatments, and how that could affect what was on the report. My primary care has recommended that I go see an endocrynologist, and everything from square one will have to be explained. It seems everyone in all industries is in such a hurry to get things done, and is not willing to put in the extra detail to make their work complete. This is a medical report that will get passed to different docs, yet is missing some pretty important information. Having a live person available to talk to would be helpful also, but again cost cutting measures involve automation therefore big lack of customer service. For routine tests and xrays have never had any issues, but this recent experience showed lack of detail. The type of medical facility should not be one that skimps on information given to patients and especially to doctors for analysis.
