While some people have recently slammed Premier Estate Sales for what they called dishonesty and…read moreunprofessional conduct during their mother's estate sale, I would like to add some information that is VERY incorrect in that review. Everything was priced according to an expert in Asian antiquities. The Asian arts market has recently (in the last couple of years) declined greatly in value. It is also true that the emotional connection to an item greatly increases the value that the owner places on the item instead of what the market may be. The market is what someone is willing to pay for that item. Neither one of the two people who wrote reviews for this company was the actual person who hired Premier so in that, they are incorrect. I doubt that they even read the contract since they did not sign it. The items that they said were worth hundreds of dollars were not, in fact, worth much money nor were they old. I know for a fact that no one thrashed through the zen garden because I was there during the entire sale and only found 1 couple who were strolling on the path and they were asked to leave which they did immediately. Anything that a relative felt was extremely valuable or didn't want to be sold had plenty of opportunity to remove those items before the sale. In fact, they were told to remove the items but chose not to do so. And yes, one item was given away by the person who had control of the estate (also the person who hired Premier). I know this because I was the recipient of that gift. I was harassed by telephone as were the Premier owners by the person who wrote a review, not the person who had control of the estate (I heard the threats and name calling that this person made in a recorded conversation.) Premier is a good company (and yes, I work for them sometimes) but I am also (along with 30 or 40 people who regularly attend their sales) a customer and an antiques dealer myself. They are honest and work very hard at being as professional as possible. Unfortunately, some clients are difficult to work with. The client herself was very personable, easy to work with and is a credit to her mother. It is easy to slam a company on Yelp because there is no one to tell you that you are incorrect. I wrote this response because I know what actually happened. No one asked me to write this and I would not have done so. I just wanted to clear up some inaccuracies in two "opinions" which are like...well, you know!

I highly recommend Jeanne if you're in the position for an estate sale. My Mother-in-Law had over…read more30 years worth of antiques and art in her home. Jeanne and her crew worked diligently to completely organize her home for 2 day sales on 2 different weekends. We felt very comfortable and Jeanne kept in touch with us daily. She researched specialty items and her pricing was spot on. I liked the fact that she wants to keep as much as possible out of the landfill, so she lets a non-profit thrift shop, and/or other thrift shops to come in after the sale to take anything left over. I recommend Jeanne Romansky, Central Coast Sales highly.

Since I live over 200 miles away from San Luis Obispo, I didn't know who could help me. I found Bonnie and Jeannie here on Yelp, and I had a great phone chat with Bonnie. Jeannie worked with me in person, and I immediately felt comfortable with her. After the movers packed up everything to be moved to the new home, I gave Jeannie keys so she could get to work. She and her team photographed items for online listings, they organized and arranged furniture and items in appealing displays on tables they brought with white tablecloths, and I know they did so much more. Jeannie kept me updated throughout the process and I knew I was in good hands. I felt confident she'd appraise items properly to determine the best price for each item. She demonstrated such thoughtfulness and caring, and I appreciated this so much. I was so grateful I didn't have to spend the time and energy figuring out how to do this all by myself. Jeannie's professionalism and warmth allowed me to focus my time and energy on what was most important, being present with my relative as she adjusted to her new home. The weekend sale was a success, and Jeannie even arranged for a local charity to come by later to collect the last few remaining items. I highly recommend them to anyone who can use their services. I trusted them completely. Thanks, Jeannie for a job well done!

A very disappointing experience with this company. Imagine…read morehaving a VERY large house absolutely FULL of wonderful antiques, collectables, and expensive dishware, Now imagine that you're absolutely BLEEDING money trying to keep up with the insurance, solar payment, electric and water, etc. expenses of said house. Now, imagine that you hire a company to solve this issue. You let the person know your situation and that a timeline is crucial. They agree. In an entire month, they came ONE SINGLE TIME for four hours. That's all. Four hours. One would assume they would at least work a full day. One might even assume that after being hired, they would work 40 hours a week until the house was empty. Because one might be shitting in their pants because of the sheer cost of keeping said house insured, watered, powered, etc. How can a business run like this? Answer: it doesn't. I would not recommend.

I was crushed as I had driven my family an hour round trip and left empty-handed. The lady who helped me said they would review the security footage and try to track it down and if not issue a refund and site credit. There were a lot of people from the general public walking in and out of the house so it's not surprising something like this could happen. I would recommend the house be closed off and only the Estate 360 employees be allowed to go inside to retrieve items won in the auction. Remaining optimistic that my item will be located and am more than happy to update this review with a positive one if this issue is resolved satisfactorily.
