Appointment wait time is minimal, the facility is clean, with many services available in one facility including labs, X-ray, emergency dental, and physical therapy, as well as general medicine.

I'm glad I opted for this location, because my experience has been far greater than that at West Contra Costa Health Center. I always find parking in front and I have never seen more than 2-3 people waiting in the lobby. We are always seen within 10-15 minutes of early/on-time arrival, but I once saw a patient asked to reschedule because she checked in more than 15 minutes after her appointment. The clientele served here appears to be older, I never see any other children when I come but I always schedule morning appointments. The staff at the front desk isn't the most friendly, but they aren't rude. They just appear a little bored or tired. Aside from the clerical staff everyone is wonderful, especially FNP Kray. She doesn't keep us waiting and is very supportive and open minded. Her approach feels more holistic than sterile and she is a super sweet woman!

The last three pics show what the new Kaiser building looks like and it's nice. But Kaiser still kind of basic and is what it is. When I'm interacted with the doctors, they do seem caring. I have to be honest. And I like coming here instead of having to go to Oakland for some of my care so that's also good. The girl was bad and I have to say that I've been fine and made it. But I can't forget how they neglected my mother's house until she was on her death door and then one of us to let her go. I just hope that when it's my time I'm not here at Richmond Kaiser, where they kind of care about you until you clear that you're really sick. That comes from personal experience, by the way. Everybody at Vale --from the nurses to the cleaning staff -- was so understanding, caring and supportive of her. They are definitely overworked and understaffed (as are all nursing facilities in this price range), but they never failed to care for my mother with warmth and personal connections. For an institutional setting, the food is good, too. The neighborhood does not offer much in the way of places to walk, but my mother was recovering from a broken knee and that was not an issue for us. For a family like ours that could not afford paying for a premium upscale facility, Vale was a godsend.

They performed the necessary tests and prescribed medication. Two days later, they contacted me with the results of those tests and determined that a new medication should be prescribed. I was on my way home, and Danielle, the nurse, arranged to have the new prescription sent to my pharmacy in Nevada. They went out of their way to secure my well-being.
