My son's teacher is not friendly and is not communicative. He moved to different daycare and the teacher is so much better.

I took my 6 year old granddaughter, Charlotte, to Southern Pines for their Foundational Horse…read moreLesson a week ago and she is still talking about it. Jen Daly was so good with her, teaching her all the fundamentals from the tact room, to grooming the horse, and riding the horse. Too often parents just take their kids to "ride a horse" without learning to appreciate how much goes into taking care of a horse. Charlotte learned all those things in a couple of hours, she even mucked the stall and enjoyed it. Jen had her riding Lola (a wonderfully gentle horse) within a matter of minutes and steering the horse on her own. I only wish Charlotte lived here year round so I could enroll her in ongoing lessons at Southern Pines. A very clean, well managed facility where it's clear to see how much they love and care for the horses, the property and their clients.

He's really into parkour, and the weekly program gives him a great mix of structured learning and active play. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, and I appreciate that they break the kids into smaller groups of about eight, which helps keep things more manageable. That said, with so many kids in the gym at once, it can get a bit chaotic. The instructors rotate frequently, which makes it harder to track individual progress, but on the plus side, it means my son gets to learn from different coaching styles. The staff is on the younger side, but they bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm, which keeps the kids engaged. One thing I really like is how they change up the course and layout every week and focus on different themes to keep things fresh and exciting. Overall, it's been a great experience, and my son always looks forward to going. A little more consistency with coaching would be nice, but if your kid is into parkour, this is a great place to train and have fun! They also offer a paid trial class and fee for open gym if you're interested in checking it out. They also have themed special events such as Fortnite Night, Minecraft, Ninja Warrior Night, etc. They also offer options for camp and focused clinics.

The coaches have all been really great, especially Coach Addison and Coach Nick. They are all very patient with my 4 year old son and work hard to keep the kids safe. The facilities look well kept and clean, especially from all the classes they have. This is a place I hope to bring my children to for a long time!

The classes are small, the…read moreteachers are reliable with low turnover, and the attitude of the staff is amazing and positive. After looking at several daycares in the area, I chose this one for my daughter who is in the infant class because: The class size for infants is capped at 4. This means that she will never be in a room with 8 babies and one teacher (out of compliance with state codes). The caregivers really care. They are consistent and I haven't seen them ever play favorites. I never worry about my kiddo's well-being. The facility is always clean and well-kempt. The cleaning products are all-organic (which is nice, not a huge sell for me as I use regular stuff at my home, but for some it is important). If I have called the facility, the phones are answered promptly. My questions are always answered courteously, and no one seems rushed. Overall, this is a great facility and I didn't even remember to call them to check on my baby her first day there, which I think says a lot about the facility. You get peace of mind here. My daughter loves going into the building in the mornings. She smiles as soon as she sees her teacher, and is always happy to transfer arms. No tears, ever! I highly recommend this daycare, and have told several co-workers about it for their children.

Shortly…read moreafter his 3rd birthday I discovered that the daycare had made well over $7,000 in unauthorized charges to my credit card that the daycare had on file. The daycare admitted the charges were unauthorized. However, when I asked the owner to refund the money they initially told me that they did not have the funds available to refund me for the unauthorized charges and they asked if I would accept credits for future services until the amounts were repaid. I rejected that offer & requested immediate reimbursement. After several weeks of calls & emails seeking reimbursement, the daycare finally reimbursed me for over $7k of the unauthorized charges. I (like most parents) want to make sure that my children are at a daycare I know I can trust and where my kids are safe. After this incident I personally no longer felt like I could trust Turtle Tots so I chose to withdraw my children. I will note that we loved my son's teacher - Ms. Jeanette. She was great and our son adored her but given the circumstances we felt that we had no choice to pull our children from turtle tots. I do not think the teachers had anything to do with the unauthorized charges but again, given the circumstances I did not feel comfortable leaving my children there.
