Went here for a birthday swim and it was great! The diving pool was good and the line didn't get super bad, Still can't do the rock wall. I hadn't ever seen a wavy-lazy river! I thought it was an awesome concept and so much more fun than just a lazy river or wave pool!! Big fan of this place they had some good lunch options for a swimming place and lifeguards were fun to hang out with! Would recommend, Family friendly! read more

Business owner doesn't even respond to this review. I guess he thinks this review is not important. What can I say? He's already breaking the state law and he don't care. He just wants your money. No wonder this business is failing because they treat the residence like crap. they have a lousy service recovery policy. Their lifeguard training is incompetent and I can give an example. This kid was drowning and instead of the lifeguard throwing them up a lifeline he drove in the pool to save the kid really this is the worst thing you can do because you might have two drownings. So it was a hot day 102° and according to the health department they're supposed to provide tapwater for drinking free instead they tried to charge me for water. They don't have enough handicap parking and I'm handicap. They asked me for ID and I showed them an extra have my brain bleed. They didn't care. They asked me if I was a resident and I said yes, and then they asked me do I have proof of it and I said yes here's my ID and the proof where I live. I said the water makes me dizzy. I'm just here with my kid. I don't even have a bathing suit. They still charge me to enter. It's ridiculous if I wasn't a resident I would go to someplace like Waterworld so I paid their extortionate prices to enter and watch my kid. I'm gonna report them to the health department. This is a business that we don't need in our city! read more

We took my Sister and Niece and Brothers Granddaughter yesterday for what we thought would be a day of fun and unto a certain point it was. I have always maintained that the lifeguards don't pay enough attention to what's going on in the pools, I have a lot of experience as a lifeguard because all through JR and Sr high I was first a shallow water guard and then a Deep water guard. We were letting my niece Everleigh play in the kids area and felt safe doing so as there were guards standing EVERYWHERE around the pool area, When I noticed she was out of my sight for jus a moment I got up and walked over to the 4 ft side and all I could see was our baby drowning! there were guards EVERYWHERE and not 1 of them noticed, I dove into the pool and got her out and whilst she was terrified she was ok. That's not a guarantee though if she had gotten water in her lungs she could die days later from a dry drowning. If you are going to hire lifeguards please make sure that they are there to do their jobs and not visit with each other or be rude to the people who pay for memberships. If anything had happened to Everleigh you would be Wholly liable, because there were 4 guards standing around that pool and not 1 of then saw her struggling to get her head above the water. We know we should NEVER have let her get out of our sight but the very moment that we couldn't see her anymore I got up because she had slipped off of the wall into the deeper water, I asked her why she went in the deep water she said she thought all of the water 'was kids water read more

The community water park is great. If you are a resident entry is cheap, like $3. It's big enough that it doesn't get extremely crowded and you can usually find a shady spot to set you things. They have a couple water slides, a lazy river with waves and a great kids play area. The concessions are reasonably priced and the staff is great. But be sure to check their hours as they close yearly in the year, like 3-4 weeks before labor day. read more

Pool is clean, SMALL. People going there are terrible .I walked up to a woman yesterday who I saw taking a float out of my young son's hand (that he had just waited 10 minutes for) , she said that it was "made" for toddlers. So I walked up and told her to give it back. Something like this happens every time we are here. Wish they had more people watching out for bullies. read more

We decided for Labor day, last day the outdoor swimming pools were open to try out Brighton Oasis instead of some tried and true pools. We instantly regretted it. It was almost $70 for us to get in. They close the pools numerous times to "Give their lifeguards a break" although they switch spots mid shift. It seemed to be more tailored to adults then children or teenagers. The lifeguards really seemed like they enjoyed yelling at all kids for very minor things; however when it came to 4 teenage boys bullying a special needs boy the entire staff looked away, I had to say something to them to make them stop. The day we went it was well over 100 degrees and they closed the concession stand as they "ran out of stuff". the water in the drinking fountain tasted like it came out of the swimming pool very hot and very chlorinated. It was to the point 5 of the 10 kids I brought refused to swim because the staff was so rude within an hour of us arriving. One of the lifeguards pushed my daughter because she was not hurrying down the stairs fast enough for adult swim only, he refused to give us his name. I was so frustrated at the entire experience that I decided to go talk to the manager and let them handle it. Big Mistake!! The manager Jasmine, literally stood their rolling her eyes while I was trying to tell her what was going on. Her employees were laughing saying, " she comes in here talking to you like your going to do something about it." Seriously? She said if we don't like it don't come back. This place is great for kids over the age of 7, but for the kids that are under 6 will not have fun. The rule states that if or child Is under 48" tall they can't go on the slide even with an adult!!! Also if you kid is under 6 they must be an arms length from you or else the life guards will blow the whistle at you. Speaking of the life guards, there are about 20 of them. That's not bad to have a lot of people on duty, but in the first 30 min I was there they blew the whistle about 30 times on babies, kids, and adults!!! There where also two life guards who look under 14 years old. I would not recommend this place for families with children under 7. read more

I'm sitting here right now, the place is super busy even for a cloudy friday. The place is very clean and organized and they have a ton of lifeguards, which to me look like they do the job better then lifeguards at Elitchs. The two slides are awesome, you do need to be 48' OR pass a swim test to get a wrist band that will let you ride. The lazy river turns into a wave pool every so often and it's fun with a tube you have to ride in. The zip line they have here is broken, they have two basketball hoops in a small pool, which would be great but the pool is small so it gets very crowded. This place was pretty cool! If you want a spot under some shade on a weekend you have to get there just as they open. We were just like 5 minutes after 11 and missed out. The kids area is great, the lazy river is fun, the slides are a blast...and then they have a climbing wall and basketball hoop area. I will admit I was not a fan of the concession food. The nachos were decent, but the fries and chicken strips were a no go. The price to get it was really affordable too. I think for 2 adults and one child we paid $17.50. It would have been less if we had a resident card. Even if you are a resident, you need to purchase a resident card from the rec center to get resident pricing. Lame. read more

I created a Yelp account simply so I could review it. This was absolutely the worst place I have been to. I was very disappointed because I thought it would a great place to take my 3 and 4 year old; we could go on the slides, have them swim in the lazy river, have a great time... However, you can only go on the lazy river with tubes and they won't permit you to swim so little children are stuck sitting there on top, doing nothing. Children under 48" cannot go on the slides, even with a parent, so we couldn't take them on the slides. During "Adult Swim", they wouldn't allow our children to swim with us, even though they were right there (which meant that we couldn't swim... we can't leave a 3 and 4 year old sitting on the side by themselves...). They only permitted certain types of floaties, so my daughter, who knows how to swim but just needs a little help with the arm ones, couldn't use them and we had to rent a life vest for her. And on top of that, the showers at the end were ice cold, so you couldn't really scrub the chlorine or sun-screen. I understand the need for safety, but they go way far overboard; I am the parent of my children, and I should be able to dictate what is safe or not for them. I would not go here again even if it were free! Do not waste your money coming here! read more

Pretty great place we went for the first time today and staff at the window were very polite and nice so that was a good way to start off ! And the park was very clean and lots of lifeguards so that's good since there's a lot of little kiddos I have 2 kids 4 and under and they both had fun and areas they could play in ! The only annoying thing is the spray guns at the top of the kids play area is that the water reaches you in what I would have assumed to be like a chill out and sit spot but anyways obviously they can't be in control of kids with no manners but maybe if somehow the water guns can be adjusted to not reach the sitting area in between the basketball and the little kid section that would be a huge plus because a few other parents were discussing it as well on the fact that the kids were purposely aiming at us and hitting not only me and my baby but the other parents right in the face so you can't even have a nice place to just sit and watch your kids cause sometimes you might have a turd of a kid shooting you in the face . Love this water park, we bring two 12 yr. olds an 8 yr. old and two 3 yr. olds, they all love it. We feel that it is very clean and safe. Nice employees and lots to do for the price. Also the pizza was GREAT! read more

This is the worst water park I have ever been to in the state of Colorado due entirely to the staff. The facility itself is perfect for families; there's a lazy river for the older children and a wading pool/splash pad for the younger children. The problem arises due to their policy that children under the age of 6 CAN NOT be more than an arm's length away for their parents FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME AND UNDER ABSOLUTELY NO CIRCUMSTANCES WHAT SO EVER. This policy is STRONGLY enforced. For most people this seems like a good idea due to safety concerns. However for me my arm length is 18 inches at best. This means that my two young children ages 2 and 4 can never be more than a foot and a half away from me AT ANY TIME. During the 60 minutes I was at this facility I was approached numerous times by the manager of the facility a Ms. Robbie Griffee and her lifeguards who complained that I wasn't supervising (and hence neglecting) my children. One incident involved me sitting in the water with my legs stretched out and my son playing at my feet. Another incident occurred as I was standing up from my chair and my daughter was literally two feet (6 inches beyond my hand) away from me. This means that children are not allowed to splash in the artificial surf, or go down the slide or even walk in the water. The ONLY thing my children were permitted to do was stand or sit directly next me which is why we had to leave. What is the point of bringing children to a water park if they can't enjoy the water? I strongly suggest this facility post a sign informing families with children under the age of 6 that they are not wanted. read more
