It wasn't the largest of claims, but we found out today that they dropped us. They paid our claim, and our repairs are finished. And finally we have our home back in order. We're now shopping for a new carrier and expect that our premium will go up based on our claim history, which is okay. I understand they are in the business of risk. Actually not too upset, a little thankful that we get to go somewhere else because I'm not sure how Stillwater would have handled a major loss. What's interesting is if they raised our premium, we would likely have been okay with it. So if you're looking to never make a claim, then Stillwater may be the carrier for you.
