It provided our 2 kids a great learning environment through supportive and kind teachers and a safe and fun place for our kids to make friends and grow in so many areas. Thank you, thank you! I truly cannot even put into words how amazing BSP has been for my daughter. My daughter started at basically a daycare called a "preschool" and it didn't work out. Well our family is so happy it didn't work out because it lead us to BSP. We toured a few schools but this ended up being our daughter's choice and it was the right one. She is 3 and a half years old and started in October and is a completely different toddler now in December. Her learning skills, ways of communication, and just overall personality has lit up. Her teachers and director really care about her well being and care for all the kiddos like their own. She is safe and happy and that's all a parent can ask for. I cannot recommend this preschool enough! We will be really sad when it's time to move on! read more

When I needed to go back to work, my husband and I looked at local montessori schools for our 18 month old daughter but none of them felt right. We also looked at multiple daycares but they didn't meet our expectations. As soon as we finished our tour of Brilliant Scholars we knew our daughter would thrive there. It was bright, clean, and so welcoming which gave a great first impression. Then upon talking to Carmela (the director) a couple of teachers and even a few parents, I left knowing not only would my daughter be in good hands, but that she would have fun learning. My daughter has been attending BSP for 2 years now and now my son goes there as well. They look forward to going and hate leaving. The staff is small but mighty and even though they are not all my daughter's teachers, she loves them ALL which makes my mama heart happy. I appreciate the small class sizes and the open communication between my kids' teachers and myself and you can really see the effort the teachers put in to make learning fun. read more

We've been attending Brilliant Scholars Preschool for the last three years, with both my oldest daughter (who is now in second grade) and my youngest daughter who is still in preschool. We've had a great experience all three years: the facility is clean, the teachers are wonderful and I never have to worry about whether my daughter is getting enough attention and care while she's at school. They have a very low turnover rate, which has been great for my two kids. It's been so wonderful watching my girls grow both academically and socially. BSP also has lots of fun activities throughout the year - their fall festival is a blast, and the movie nights are one of my kid's favorite things! As a former preschool teacher, I can tell they truly care about their students and their own professional growth. We'll be so sad to leave next year when my youngest moves on to kindergarten! read more

Brilliant Scholars Preschool is the only school that I trust with my daughter. After coming from another preschool (won't be dropping names here), I was amazed at how my shy and reserved child has blossomed into an outgoing, smart, confident leader she is today! I only wish we had found this amazing school earlier and not wasted out money elsewhere. I can't even put into words how much I love the entire staff! Mrs. Carmela is like Mary Poppins x10. I have never seen such dedicated and so heavily involved director. They are all like one big family and they treat every family with the utmost respect. Wow wow wow, called here to schedule a tour for my potty trained 3 year to start attending here but was on the fence after reading the reviews but after speaking to the head director lady.... This place is something else.... I'VE NEVER BEEN REFUSED SCHOOL DUE TO MY CHILD'S RELIGION, and only allows immunized children. read more

After reviewing multiple schools and daycare, my husband and I visited BSP. We loved it. We sent our daughter there for about 5 months. Unfortunately we are moving otherwise we would have kept our daughter in the school. She loved going to school and loved her teachers. The communication between administration and parents is good. It is a clean school, with a consistent teaching staff, who seem to really like their jobs. As someone who has worked in a preschool before I cannot stress enough to pay attention to staff at your kids school. read more

Our family absolutely loves BSP. We were referred by a family that has their 2 children in this program. BSP dedicates themselves as not being a daycare and have daily activities, outside playing and report cards on how the children are doing. Their rates are very fair and you can see how much everyone of their staff members and teachers truly care for each and every child. Our daughter loves her friends and teachers and really enjoys socializing as well as reading books, singing, and many other teaching aspects they take in, in their early ages of life. Definitely not a daycare, it's a Preschool with a curriculum and everything! They also have smaller classrooms so the teacher to student ratio is amazing as well as this place is always very clean. My very first impression walking in to Brilliant Scholars Preschool (after having visited 6 other daycares and preschools)...the smell...it had a very clean and pleasant smell. I was then created by the very friendly Ms. Carmela and was given an impromtu tour of the campus. I knew right away that I wanted to bring my kiddos here. I brought my husband and girls for a visit a few days after and we enrolled without hesitation. Here we are over a year later and I could not imagine taking my kids anywhere else. They love going to school! They love their teachers and friendships. They learn so many things! My 4 year old knows most of the sight words that are taught in kindergarten. Her child had a horrible experience and so did Doris because she knew she wasn't leaving her child in the VERY BEST of care, to be loved on and nurtured, like Doris would want. Doris ended up pulling her child from the dirty, run of the mill preschool and finally bringing her to Brilliant Scholars. My 14-month-old son just started at Brilliant Scholars but my husband and I are already so happy with our experience. We looked at EIGHT different daycares before finally finding this school. We actually had him at a different daycare but it only lasted for one day because I didn't feel comfortable leaving him there. I only took him one time before I continued my search. After our tour of Brilliant Scholars, my husband looked at me and said "This is clearly where he is going, it's perfect!" The owners Carmela and Jennifer made us feel welcome right away! And I love the teachers in my son's classroom They reassured any of our concerns and text me pictures throughout his first day to ease my fears. I know my son is being loved at this school and getting the attention a 1yr old deserves. The classrooms are large and they keep their ratios small, which was important to us. He has only been at Brilliant Scholars for 2 weeks, but I couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll our son. read more

Really, a great school for my three year old son, staff is fantastic and very friendly. My son is having a great time in this wonderful school, so much that he wants to go even on weekends :) I do not have words to describe the support provided by Ms. Carmela, Ms. Brienna, Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Cora and other staff when we started this preschool. Class size is relatively small than other schools so each student as well as parents receives full attention from teachers. School is nicely structured, very spacious, and clean. My wife and I have peace of mind when we drop him to school knowing he will get excellent care. I recommend this school 100%. read more

Thank you so much for providing a nurturing, happy and safe place for my precious baby. We couldn't have chosen a better school for our little one (after touring 11 schools in the Valley, my heart found peace after meeting Carmela and her great staff). We love the nurturing/experienced teachers, caring/professional Directors, the clean/big classrooms, their low ratio, great school infrastructure/toys/games and at last, but not least, their awesome curriculum. My daughter has food allergies and is also showing some speech delay, which made us be very careful when choosing a school for her. This school showed from day one that Nina will have the appropriate care, attention and love she needs to grow, learn and thrive. Can't wait to see our little girl blossom in such great hands. Even living a bit far from school (we live close to Surprise which means an average daily 20 min commute each way), we decided it was definitely worth it to face the long drive as we found a hidden gem in Phoenix. Amazing ! My wife and I checked out 3 other places in our area before finding Brilliant Scholars and it was like night and day difference. We loved it from the minute we walked in to do our tour, the courtesy and appreciation in which we were greeted with was over and above all other facilities. We felt they truly cared about the children and their families whom they care for. We reviewed there impeccable state survey and that ensured us we had found the right place ! It took me a long time to decide to write this review, but I feel like it is necessary. I have a two year old, who is sweet and very well behaved. It is clear now that Brilliant Scholars is not the school for him and it is for others. *Make sure not to trust their Facebook reviews as they remove the negative ones. * The Good: The school is so clean and the classes are small. The staff is very attentive. They focus on academics and kids really learn. The Bad: The Directors and some of the teachers feel they have the knowledge and experience to recognize when kids have psychological issues. They also focus on the negative and are passive aggressive. So, I will tell my story. After a few months of my son being in this school, we were called in to talk about how he has a hard time transitioning, and gets more frustrated and angry then most kids his age. I was also told he could not settle down and pay attention. In fact his teacher said she thought he had an attention disorder. The way they dealt with this, was to remove my son from the class multiple times and let him cool off in the Director's office. They told us that they felt we needed to get my two year old behaviorally evaluated. My husband and I proceeded to do a lot of research and put some more structure in at home first. The next four weeks, every time I picked him up, I was told he had a hard day and they had to redirect him multiple times etc. It got to a point where I was having a ton of anxiety and stress about what was going on with my son and started to think I had a bad kid. I began to ask one of the Directors if he did anything good that day, since all she focused on was the bad. This is our first child so I had confidence that the school was right, since they have been around so many kids. I proceeded to call seven child psychologists. All told me he was fine, just being a normal two year old and one told me to run from this school, they have no idea what they are doing with young kids. I also consulted my pediatrician, who told me there was nothing wrong with my son, that he was a normal two year old and that he would be happy to send a note to the school saying that. I told the Directors no one would see him, in fact I was told under three they do not see unless there are severe issues which none of them believe he had any.I also told them what my doctor said. I was told on several occasions by one of the Directors that they have had to part ways with multiple families because this was not the school for their kids. They would then proceed to tell me they did not want that for my son, but if I did not get him behaviorally evaluated so they would know how to better work with him, that that may be the case for us down the road. They also told me that maybe I should talk to another pediatrician and were appalled that mine said everything was fine and would write them a note saying that. Since they backed us up against a wall, as I could not get anyone to see him and now had the threat of being kicked out, it was time to move him. To solidify I was doing the right thing, on his last day when I picked him up, they told me that they let him know it was his last day and he was upset all day. How wholly inappropriate and unprofessional. That is the parent's job and there is no reason in the world to upset a toddler. I have moved him to a new school, where he has been for three months. I can see him on camera everyday. I can see that he hardly ever throws a fit and can sit any pay attention. The teachers at the new school say he is one of the best behaved kids in the class. He is also much happier at home. My reason for posting this, is so parents really do their research and ask questions about discipline procedures, teacher experience with different age groups etc. Not all schools are right for all kiddos, but none should cause stress to parents and no parent should ever be told on a regular basis that a school has kicked other kids out. There should also be a red flag if a school is feels they are more experienced in behavioral issues then the psychological and medical professionals. There a some really good things about this school, but they could really use some additional training on normal child behavior and how to deal with parents correctly. read more

Carmela was my daughter's PK-3 teacher at Rancho Solano and there are no words to describe how grateful we are. Today she is excelling in 2nd grade due to the foundation and love she received from her amazing teacher.
