Both my 3 year old and 1 year old currently attend Guidepost. We've been going since 2023. Both kids went through the 1-1.5 year old nido class with Ms Nancy. Ms Nancy and her assistant guides are all very professional, warm, and friendly. My kids have learned so much at Guidepost. They enjoy going to school. Water day Fridays is one of their favorite activities. They also like the seasonal festivals and dance recitals. read more

We have been so impressed with Guidepost Montessori Peoria. The guides are so great, flexible, and dedicated to their jobs. I would highly recommend. When our son moved to the toddler room, we did face nap challenges. He was not getting enough sleep mostly because there were other friends that did not sleep well. We were concerned about this since it was negatively impacting our son and reached out to the Guides and administration. Guidepost at Peoria will always be so special to me. My two sons (4 & 6) have been going there since they were 3 & 18 months in the Spanish immersion program. Before this school they were only taken care of by family members. But as soon as I met everyone from the front office to their teachers I felt at ease right away. Ms. Maricela and Ms. Rosa are truly amazing guides. I love seeing both their smiling faces every time I drop them off and pick them up. My kids love their both their teachers, friends and even play school at home sometimes. They have learned so much not only academically, but independence and all things the Montessori way. This is where I have started my kids off for care, my oldest started when she was 22 months and thrived, she is now in the 1st grade. My 4 year old and 2 year old attend here and I am thankful for their teachers and the staff all around. My sons look forward to going to school and my 4 year old adores his teacher, Ms. Eva. My son has been enrolled in the Nido program for almost 2 months and we are loving the fact he is able to explore, learn, and grow in his abilities. Miss Michelle, Miss Vivian, and Miss Melissa are amazing to work with and I love the smile my son has when he sees them! They do their best to help make each day a great one for him. Both of our daughters were enrolled at Guidepost Montessori at Peoria in the Spanish immersion tract (with our youngest starting in the infant class). From my understanding, the Guidepost campus at Peoria is truly unique as it is the only Guidepost campus in the valley with infant care and Spanish immersion. Our entire family loved our experience at the Guidepost Peoria campus. The difference between our old daycare and Guidepost was night and day. At Guidepost, the child to teacher ratio is much better compared to the state minimum most daycares follow. In addition, Guidepost provides an active learning environment. The kids definitely have time for fun - but, we were blown away during our tour to see the children setting their own tables for meals and quietly working on their self-assigned tasks. We felt that the teachers (guides) really cared and always welcomed our girls with warmth and smiles. The guides and administrative staff were also very responsive to any concerns. In general, I felt like the school logistics were very well run. We were very sad to leave the Peoria campus now that our oldest has started kindergarten in the east valley (although Guidepost Peoria also has a program for kindergarten as well :) ). Our girls both love and miss their guides. We learned, though, that another great benefit of being part of the Guidepost network is how smoothly students can transfer to different Guidepost campuses both locally and in other states. Because we loved the Guidepost experience so much, our youngest is now at the North Scottsdale Guidepost campus, and we have been having a wonderful experience there as well. Our son has been attending Guidepost Peoria for 2 years now. He is in the Spanish immersion program with Ms Maricela and Ms Rosa. These 2 guides have shown my son and daughter (who is not attending school yet) so much love and attention, they treat us like family. They both take the time to discuss his day and have shown they genuinely care and love my family. His progress is astounding, he is constantly working on his skills at home that he learned at school. Teaching mom/dad/sissy spanish! My son adores going to school every day, he even wants to go on the weekends! Our two year old goes to the toddler program at Guidepost Montessori and we absolutely love the learning and friendships she is making at this school. The way they teach her about life and how to be a whole person is very evident every day after she goes home. She randomly sings new songs and speaks in complete sentences and we just get surprised by the awesome progress she makes every time. The staff is outstanding: friendly, accommodating, and very patient - they love what they do. The facility is clean, which is one of the biggest factors why we chose them. I would give less stars if possible. First let me start off by saying that when we started my 18 month old here this school was not our first choice. It was however the one we liked the most that could get her in right away. The one we really wanted her to go to had a 6 month waiting list and it's very clear to see why that is and this school didn't. Guidepost is beautiful and clean inside and I felt like it would be a safe and reliable place to leave my daughter so we gave them $1500 to start the enrollment process. (This is supposed to cover your last month after you give a 30 day notice.) BE VERY AWARE if you give your 30 day notice at the VERY beginning of September (as we did in our case) they charge you for September and the FULL month of October! So you're paying for pretty much an entire month that your child is not even attending the school. They are supposed to reimburse the surplus as the tuition per month is not $1,500 (in our case) and we are still waiting on that. Fingers crossed we get that soon as our daughter hasn't been there in over a month and a half. The woman we spoke with on the phone was not very kind or helpful when it came to addressing this. Also if you want your child to be in a fun and creative environment as to nourish their imaginative and carefree spirit I would advise to try pretty much ANYWHERE but here. I picked my daughter up early one day (around lunchtime) and there was not a single sound coming from the room. No music, giggles or even toddler chatter. It was very weird as all of the children were somewhere between 18 months and 3 years old. Good luck with your search. I hope this was helpful. read more

Our family recently moved to Peoria from the East Valley and one of our top priorities was to find a school for our daughter. We toured 6 other schools before our visit to Guidepost. Not only were we so impressed with everything but all of our questions were answered and most importantly, we felt our family belonged at this school. The decision was easy and our daughter has had a wonderful experience at Guidepost. Our only complaint is that she cries when it is time to leave school which is something we can definitely live with. There are not enough stars to desc our experience at Guidepost. My son in the infant room at 14 weeks. As weve aged into different classrooms we were met with amazing leads and guides along with a great community. My son learned a ton but most importantly was always safe and happy. Through COVID and transitioning to normalcy, the school met each family at their needs. To anyone searching for a true Montessori setting this is your answer. As a new parent I received beautiful guidance and love from everyone at school. The Spanish immersion program is amazin, however you cannot go wrong with any of the classes offered. Our 2 year old has been in the toddler Spanish immersion program for the past year, and her progress has been astounding. She is often singing the Spanish songs that she has learned at school, and she always has something to share about her day. She has learned to be very independent thanks to the Montessori philosophy. She loves her guides, who are very nurturing. The kids are always busy with a wide variety of activities, including lots of outdoor time. The facility is always clean and tidy. I am so thankful that we found Guidepost Montessori. We have actually arranged our lives around making sure that she and her future siblings can attend this school. My twins were 3 years old when they started going to Guidepost Montessori Peoria. This was the first school experience away from me and the nanny so I was nervous but both adapted very quickly. However, the teachers were very patient with them and helped both to get used in their new environment. Since that my kids love going every day to school. I would recommend very much Guidepost Montessori Peoria to anyone. Our children enjoy all the great activities the school provides during summer and school year. They are constantly giving parents updates when their child gets changed, naps etc. even shares pictures throughout the day. The staff is awesome and my kids are feeling comfortable talking to teachers when problems come up. Additionally the awesome admin staff/ teachers always inform me when there's been an issue and how it was handled. We have been at this location for over 2 years. I have so many things to say that I don't know where to start! I am a VERY protective mom who was anxious and nervous about sending my child to preschool for the first time. However, Guidepost won me over very quickly and allayed all my fears! This preschool/kindergarten is the perfect blend of academics, culture appreciation, and socialization. They foster independence, creativity, and a genuine pride in learning in all of their students. The entire staff is dedicated to guiding each child in discovering and maximizing their strengths while encouraging them to tackle new tasks/learning experiences they may not be familiar with. This staff also provides a very nurturing environment which I was very drawn to and one I had not observed with other schools when I was choosing a school for my daughter (and believe me, I looked!). They have a fantastic Spanish Immersion program for toddlers and preschoolers.I see the progress my daughter has made in the year she has been there and my husband and I are amazed! She has become a confident, independent, and respectful little lady who loves to learn. She is excited to come home each day and share all she has learned and accomplished!
