But the employee who helped us was the complete opposite of welcoming. It felt awkward, especially since my brother-in-law is just a kid who should be excited in a place like that. After we left, my brother-in-law even said it felt like she didn't want us there, which honestly broke my heart. He's a quiet kid, not causing any trouble at all. I'm not sure if it was my tattoos that made her act that way, but I went in ready to spend money and cheer him up with some candy. I can assure you my money is green. I would think she would be excited to see us considering the old "kid in a candy store" thing. When I asked where the bags were for filling up candy by the pound, she seemed really annoyed and just said they were on the table without any clear signs. I didn't have my glasses on, so I didn't see them right away, but her attitude was just shocking. I only bought candy for my brother-in-law to support the shop, especially since it was empty. You'd think a candy store would be a happy place, but I was really disappointed by the service. I honestly don't recommend this place to anyone. You can buy cheaper candy anywhere else ‍. There is only one store left in Houston and they were sold out and won't get any until next year. Less mileage to drive to Chappell Hill from where I live.
