It is one of the bakeries that you get a steel dish and steel tong and pick the items you want to take home. I saw Conchas, cookies, donuts, churros, bread, empanadas. As a vegetarian- I resulted to a sprinkled cookie, one chocolate covered donut, my husband got a pineapple bar. Each of these items were around 85 cents!! I was so surprised how cheap it was. When we were checking out- the lady did let us know this is a family owned bakery, they have agua Frescas, can order custom cakes, jelly drinks, tamales. She stated they make everything freah every morning. I will say when I tried the cookie- it was very dry and crumbly (very similar to granola bars where when you take a bit half the bar falls on the floor because the crumbs). The cookie didn't seem fresh to me maybe a day or two old. The donut- delicious and cheaper than other donut shops so worth it! The pineapple bar- not a fan, too sweet for my liking. Overall- I have now been to this bakery multiple times, I have tried multiple items. The prices definitely went up since the first time we went a few months ago. They're located in a small shopping strip off of Hwy 6 at Savannah Pkwy. Parking is adequate and the shopping strip is located at a traffic light which is so helpful when trying to get back on to Hwy 6. I was greeted pretty quickly by one of the employees. I placed my order at the register up front, then grabbed a seat to wait. While I waited, I noticed the steady stream of customers coming in. The dining room is rather large and they had quite a few tables. I also noticed a colorful photo op wall. I didn't have to wait too long for my order. I read positive reviews about the Coconut Coffee so that's what I went with. I ordered it iced, however they brought me a hot one. I went ahead and kept it because I didn't want to wait any longer for my much needed caffeine fix. To my surprise, the Coconut Coffee was very good! I really enjoyed the coconut shavings. For my meal, I ordered the Potato and Egg Breakfast Tacos and added cheese. I opted for a side of refried black beans. When I got home, I discovered that the tacos didn't have any cheese on them. To add insult to injury, the tacos and beans were extremely bland. I tried the red and green salsa, and they were spicy, but good. It definitely helped to add some flavor.

They make it fresh there. Everything was really good and the two women working were super nice and let us try the pepino before getting a normal size. The restaurant itself is kind of hidden behind the front building but there is plenty of parking and seating!
