YUM YUM YUM! We were in the area leaf-peeping and wanted to stop for a coffee. This popped up on our Yelp search and the long line out the door confirmed it was the place to be. The guy in front of us in line, presumably a local, RAVED about the cinnamon rolls and recommended we get a corner piece. By the time we ordered, the rolls were out and we had to wait 15 minutes for a fresh batch to come out (twist my arm). We got two rolls, pain au chocolat, a cookie, and a palisade peach pastry. For coffee, we got an iced chai and an iced lavender matcha. The rolls, we all agreed amongst our party of 4, was probably the best roll we'd ever had?! They didn't have icing which I preferred, and were slightly crunchy on the outside but deliciously gooey on the inside. Drooling just writing this review! The drinks were good but not anything to rave about - the chai had way too much milk but the flavor of the chai itself was good. Would love to try their lunch sandwiches next time we're in the area! Only slight knock is that a cinnamon roll was $7.50 OOF but for being the best I've ever had, guess it was worth it? read more

My family and I happened to see this bakery on our way out of Alma into Breckenridge and decided to stop by on a Thursday morning. We were greeted by the smell of fresh baked goods and inviting smiles. The girls running the bakery were so sweet and friendly and the pastries were amazing! The shop itself has a cozy, vintage feel and looks like it is straight out of a movie! I also tried a vanilla matcha latte which had great flavor and was very smooth. (The shop does offer coffee as well.) We will definitely return to this bakery next time we are in Alma! read more

I can guarantee no matter what you buy you will not be disappointed. These are the best pastries on BOTH sides of the Mississippi and I am confident in that. Every time I stop by (which is every time I'm near) I leave with a smile because of the warmth and kindness of the women working here. Very nice shop and always smells like heaven. I was literally here 2 hours ago. Bought the seeded sourdough bread which is crazy good, cinnamon roll, monkey bread and the brioche. This place has the best fresh baked food I've had in long time. The cinnamon roll is so moist, and the cinnamon used is either great or the dough brings the flavor out well. Truthfully one of the best we've ever eaten. The monkey bread was super delicious, and the brioche was so good. The vanilla and custard really blends so well with the blackberries. We had planned on eating these sweets over a couple days - that plan failed. The only mistake I made was when I was asked when paying if I wanted anything else. I laughed and said no. Wrong response, I should have gotten more. I'll be back either this weekend or next week for sure. read more

We were staying in Breckinridge this summer but stayed in FairPlay last year. We love to visit Alma and heard about this bakery. I placed an order online for pickup and oh my goodness! We were not disappointed. We got the chocolate croissants, chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon rolls, and fresh sourdough bread. Everything is amazing! I highly recommend visiting this spot for baked goods. I have never had sourdough bread this delicious!! The croissants are buttery and flaky deliciousness.
