I remember being somewhat impressed with this French bakery when I first visited it over 10 years ago...but on my recent trip to Breckenridge, I left a bit puzzled. The layout of this bakery is super-tight for one (NOT comfy!), and the bakery selection is quite small. For some reason, I remember the selection being much bigger in the past. I've been to so many bigger-better bakeries in the past decade, this one was just a huge let-down. In any case, I just tried their Ham & Cheese Crepe, with a Latte w/ Cream. Well, again, so disappointing! The Ham & Cheese Crepe was just SO basic (no fruits, no whipped cream, nothing!). Also, it was poorly made...with the cheese only in the middle section. I thought I misordered! The taste was also BLAH...I kept thinking, this CAN'T be the same bakery I visited years ago, is it??? Also, the presentation (if you can even call it that!) was beyond bad. The crepe and the latte was delivered in cheap paper...not even a logo. OMG...basically a dive in terms of a bakery. I'm kinda amazed at the high ratings here. I mean, really?!? Sadly, I don't think I'll be returning here on my future trips.

I remember the first time I had this bakery. I was absolutely blown away, especially for a spot in the mountains! Recently came here again and got the almond croissant - so flaky and delicious! It's also quite large! We also got the apple croissant. I was impressed! Would definitely get again. The apple in the middle was heavenly and the pastry was flaky in all the right places. It was a great balance of fruit vs pastry and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There's usually a line I believe, so get ready for that! My only complaint was that they were out of coffee beans the morning we came, so I ordered a London fog. It left a lot to be desired...my two cents are to come for the pastry, but maybe get your coffee drinks somewhere else. We were a big group but got a table on the other side of their establishment, which worked out perfectly!

Cute little spot right, conveniently located, plenty of pastry options to choose from. I got a raspberry beignet and iced raspberry white mocha latte. Beignet was large with tons of filling and tasty. The latte came with lots of whipped cream on top, which I was surprised by, but it was good - not too sweet, which I appreciate. Staff was busy keeping up with the crowd, but nice. I would stop back by and try a few other things - their sandwiches looked great, but it was only time for coffee and a snack!

The staff are super friendly and the drinks are on the heavier/creamier side. I wish I'd ask to reduce the cream levels because I wasn't expecting a drink like this. Despite that, I was very pleased with the white raspberry drink - it is a new type of drink I haven't seen before. Come inside and step away from the cold to enjoy this always cozy French bakery in Breckenridge!

Popped in after walking around Main Street just as we arrived. Busy place, but service is fast and friendly. There are spots in and out to enjoy your treats.

This location is in a shared plaza and is downstairs. With the snow, there isn't much street parking but there is a parking lot behind the complex. You stand in line to order and then grab a table and the food and coffee is delivered to your table. The options look great as is the portion size. The service was lovely. There are two separate spaces for dining in. We tried the almond chocolate croissant, the almond croissant and the quiche. The almond paste is yummy and the croissant is flaky and just how you would want it to be. I really enjoyed the quiche as well. We will definitely be back to try more savory bakery items.

A local shop owner recommended this stop and it was lovely! Authentic french pastries and the coffee was delicious too. We ended up getting a chocolate almond croissant and some iced mocha lattes before taking a seat on the cute patio out back. Everyone working was kind & helpful, service was quick & I would definitely say this is worth a visit if you're in Breckenridge!

A cute little cafe located downstairs on Main Street. As soon as you walk in the door you're greeted by the staff and cases of pastries. It was difficult to decide. I went with the apple croissant and pain au chocolat. The pastries were flaky and while the chocolate was good, the apple was absolutely delicious. The thin sliced apples and a tad bit of cream in it. Omg was it good! If I was local I'd eat one every day. This bakery is a must-try!

I've always wanted to try this bakery. We had the chance before our trip to Fla. to bring our guest for a quick bite. It's a great location central to almost everything in town. Great experience for a sit down quick visit. Featured here: 1. Ham and Brie Panini 2. Turkey Swiss 3. Croque Madame 4. Croquet Monsiuer Did you know? A croque madame is simply a croque monsieur with a poached or fried egg on top. The difference between the two sandwiches has to do with how the egg is incorporated into the rest of the ingredients: In a croque monsieur, the bread is dipped into the beaten egg before it's cooked (French toast-style)

Great tasting croissant and bakery items. Lots of selections. Though we didn't get any sandwiches today, I kept looking at other's order and there's a big chance of us coming back to this place again sometime this week.

It was a rather big deal for my friend to make the event, and it was only possible because of the graciousness of Hyde. We went with fish tacos and steak sandwich and loved both. The roasted-pepper tomato soup was delicious also!

We sat there for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged while Ben clearly prioritized people he seemed to know personally. During that time he served guests who arrived after us and even started doing prep work instead of checking on us. Eventually we had to ask him ourselves if we could order drinks. When we did, Ben responded with a sarcastic and rude tone saying something along the lines of, "Sure, I can grab you drinks if you want them, but first show me IDs." We had unfortunately left our IDs back at home. That part is completely fair we understand you can't serve alcohol without identification and we accepted that. However, immediately after this interaction, another group of people who appeared around our age (we're in our 30s) sat down and Ben served them alcohol without asking for ID at all. When we asked him about it, he simply shrugged and ignored us. We then asked if we could at least get a Red Bull, since it's non-alcoholic. Ben refused and walked away. When we asked the other bartender if she could grab one for us, Ben came up behind her and told her not to serve us because we didn't have IDs even though we were only asking for a Red Bull. Thankfully she was kind enough to help us anyway. The most shocking part happened shortly after when one of Ben's friends came in. Ben began talking negatively about us right in front of us, calling us rude? Within earshot while we were sitting at the bar. When we confronted him and asked what the issue was, he threatened to kick us out of what he called "his bar." We asked to speak with a manager and explained the situation. The level of rudeness and unprofessional behavior from Ben was honestly shocking. Ignoring guests, being sarcastic and dismissive, refusing basic non-alcoholic service, and then openly insulting customers in front of them is completely unacceptable in any hospitality environment.
