I cannot tell you how glad I am after seeing the exit sign, BARTER THEATRE, NEXT EXIT years ago on our way to Dollywood in Tennessee, when I got back home, I looked it up on the internet. The people that work in this museum are absolutely incredible. They are beyond helpful, friendly, and attentive. Super knowledgeable as well. You can tell they love their city and enjoy their job. Come to. Wet some super nice people and see an awesome collection from the Bristol Sessions. The museum is very informative and has some interesting history and some great displays. There's a 15 minute video in a super comfortable theater that gives you the background of the museum. There was a gentleman that works there that was chatting before the film and he was a wealth of knowledge. There's a great store with some treasures and a special exhibit area. And an absolute must see if you come in for the rhythm and roots reunion. Easy to find handy parking. The museum is on two floors. There were plenty of volunteers present to answer questions. Many had their own personal stories, which was great. The entire collection is well curated and very well produced. I found it to be absolutely fantastic. I grew up on Bluegrass and country music and knew a lot of the history already, but it was really interesting to see the instruments and hear the first recordings of the Bristol sessions. Just a fantastic place. They do have a small gift shop downstairs that sells various items a lot made by local artisans. Everything was pretty appropriately priced. If you were coming in the Bristol, this is a must see.

I also loved that they have the speakers still that you can hang on your window - the last couple drive-ins I've been to had removed them so it was exciting as I love them for nostalgia purposes as well as prefer using them over tuning in in the car. Overall I do plan to be back! Even between buying a couple snacks and the ticket the cost was less than half of what I last spent at the movie theater. Of the two sets of doors in the front, half of them weren't functioning which meant that big crowds were all moving in and out of the building through one set of doors. Not great. We stand in a line of about 60 people with 15 of those being outdoors in late November in Abingdon where the temperature is in the upper 30s. Brrrrr. We asked folks around us if they had already bought tickets, if this line was just for concessions, etc. but no one was certain. After eventually moving inside we saw that the ticket purchase line and the concession line appeared to be the same one. Also, we saw that no one was checking tickets as you entered the theater area. So we got out of line and went to our theater. We had bought tickets in advance but it should would have been easy for anyone just to head right in without tickets. The staff looked overwhelmed, understandably so, but the line arrangement and information were poor. We were in a theater with the multiway reclining seats. I kept mine upright for most of the film but when I did try to recline, many of the buttons didn't work.

They have shown it every year since, and I have been fortunate enough to go every time the doors have been open for it. However, after tonight, I will not be returning to this establishment. My friends were approached and threatened by a man getting in their face complaining about the audience callbacks. (To any Cinemall staff: I was in the same row, I saw it happen!) In the twelve years they've shown the movie, they should know full well what kind of movie this is and that callbacks are part of the program. Doubly so since they've invested in the Tolls of Madness shadowcast during some years. To make things worse, the same man that complained also admitted to bringing his underage kid to see the movie. Despite knowing that, the manager of the establishment decided to move to kick out my friends over the callbacks instead of kicking out the man and his daughter. So when my friends were forced to leave, my wife and I walked out with them. As such, I was given my refund when it was offered for the tickets I purchased, and I also turned in a free movie pass I was given at work. I will not return. Not if I'm going to be gagged from participating at the one movie that allows it. Thanks for losing a 12-year paying customer. P.S. Since you read my review on Google and left a nasty response, I've contacted your CEO. I've also emailed the Tolls of Madness and informed them of what you really think of your local Rocky Horror fans.

This year the weather was wonderful and it just made everything that much better. Festival featured a great selection of regional commercial brewers and a host of local homebrewers as well. A few of these I'm happy to say I'll look back and remember "i had their beer when they were just starting". Really good stuff all around and loads of great people.

I do think price point wise if you're coming with a couple of people this is a great 15-minute Drive - through. Though, there was hardly anybody here when we came in so we were thankfully taking our sweet time truly enjoying everything while there is nobody behind us. I do think it was a casual visit but it's great for children mainly and Christmas enthusiats of all ages! There's no Christmas shop in the center like the motor Speedway. it's only just a drive-thru event. I did enjoy that everything felt closer I'm like Bristol at least.

The MiLB website mentioned that it was Veterans Night, meaning $1 admission to veteran's with ID…read more Since we love baseball, we decided to take the drive to Elizabethton, TN. Well, when we arrived the game that was booked on the internet for 7 PM had already started at 6 PM. Plus, nobody knew about the internet posting of the Veterans's get in for a buck. Luckily, I showed the ticket personnel my smart phone with the information (print screen). Next, the stadium was more like a high school stadium. It was kind of sad, but the fans were die hard baseball fans which made the game. They do put a solid team on the field. Finally, they had the standard ballpark food with several surprises.
