One of the local tire store owners recommended them to me. They were spot on with this reco. They took their time with my vehicle. They first diagnosed it and even had me under the vehicle that was up on the lift to show me exactly what the problem pipes were. They recommended aluminum piece of pipe replacement just before the muffler. He then found another problem spot coming off of the engine after the catalytic converter which he suggested using a section of stainless steel which was more expensive than the previous pipe. I accepted his recommendations and he commented with the repairs with his partner. They really took their time as I sat and watched. They were meticulous and very methodical while doing their work and bending pipes to work and fit perfectly. They spent over an hour doing this work and welding. They even fabricated new brackets to hold the muffler up because the original brackets were rusted through. They did an excellent job and even gave them a $20.00 tip because their work came out so great. Job well done by true craftsmen. They are true professionals and all around good people. I'm sure I'll be back for other work in the future. Thank you thank you so much for your excellent, skillful, quality work you did for me. You're amazing.

In the middle of a long drive, we felt a pronounced wobble while driving our Jeep and happened upon Herb's to get it checked out. So glad we did! Joe and Maria quickly welcomed us, diagnosed the issue (was a worn tire down to the rim!), delivered a new set of 4 top quality tires, and installed them all within 2 hours. Professional service that included great advice on our vehicle's issues, and which things needed to be addressed now or later. Joe is a pro! While waiting in the lobby, Maria visited with our 5 year old daughter and even gifted her a beautiful wind chime before sending us on our way. Check out her shop in the lobby, it's very cute! We were so lucky to find Herb's before our tire blew, and so thankful to everyone at the shop for helping us so quickly! I'd had another auto guy tell me I needed new brakes, new transmission and engine mounts and a bunch of other repairs, so decided to get a quote a 'south street auto' Kevin the owner said I only needed brake bracket parts and cleaning, and something with the power steering but that my brakes were almost new and the engine looked great. I asked him to do everything on the car while I was there to make sure it was safe for my college aged son to drive and it all totaled $414. I saved a few thousand by coming here. I noted that every guy that came in was a 50-70 year old local who had obviously been taking their cars there for years. This is now my go-to auto place. Kevin could have told me anything was wrong with my car and I'd have no clue but he obviously runs a honest and extremely fair priced.
