Most good massage therapist will check in with you to see if the pressure is sufficient. However this one, never asked once. Finally I spoke up and said she could go much more firmer. She replied she was working up to that. I explained that she had already moved onto to other body parts. I waited again for her to check in with me, but she never did. I lay there getting more and more frustrated as she poked and light rubbed her hands on me. She put very little pressure on my back and my calves. Finally, I just ended the massage because I was so frustrated at how horrible this massage was going. She did nothing to resolve or correct the massage, even though I had requested it. Once I got to the counter they were still wanting to charge me. Finally they comped this partial experience. I am so disappointed.

My masseuse seemed inexperienced, didn't really target any of my knots, and kept repeating the same movements over and over again. She also did things on one side of my body that she didn't do to the other side - like hitting one of my feet but not the other. I got medium pressure, but due to the repeated motion, my back ended up being SORE the next few days to the point that any contact HURT. Even my towel touching my skin after I showered hurt so bad. Seeking relief from back and neck pain, I've had many massages over the years from different places and therapists, but they all left me disappointed at best, physically agonized at worst. I had pretty much given up on them entirely, but after suffering a concussion in a car accident, and struggling for weeks without improvement, I was desperate. My head was a fuzzball, my body a twisted wreck. I didn't recognize myself, pained and lethargic, and I was getting concerned about the time it was taking to recover. Fortunately, a friend referred me to P&GT and Eliza, and I decided to give massage one more chance. Hallelujah! Eliza's touch was incredible, and more than that, she shared a wealth of information so that I could try to prolong the benefits after the massage.
