I'd been experiencing pain for about six months before finally making an appointment so didn't expect all of the damage I'd done to be erased in one visit. Jenn asked a lot of questions and got to work. At first I saw Jenn every few weeks. She has used a combination of deep tissue massage, cupping, medi-cupping and has also used a variety of CBD lotions dependent on my pain levels. I really appreciate not only Jenn's abilities as a talented massage therapist, I have also gained so much knowledge from her on other holistic approaches to my healing: stretches and herbal remedies being only a few. Every appointment starts with a discussion about any issues I've had....and lots of times I just tell her to find the areas that seem tight...it really is amazing how she can find the spots to make other parts of my body feel better! Jenn is incredibly dedicated to her business and clients and I appreciate that she is willing to go above and beyond when we discuss issues I experience and how I can supplement my massages. Although I haven't taken advantage of some of the other offerings at Modality, I think that her addition of other treatment methods shows her dedication to providing options for anyone. While I only see Jenn about once a month now, making that first appointment really was one of the best choices I made for myself in a very long time not only physically but mentally as well. The space she set up is beautiful, clean and very calming and I would encourage anyone to make an appointment. As my massage was prenatal, we ended up having separate rooms, but Cindy checked to make sure I didn't mind first, and we were totally fine with whatever setup worked best. Cindy made sure I had proper supports for laying down, and used a body pillow to hug while lying on my side when it was time to do my back. My aching joints felt so much better after the hour, and my husband's massage therapist was able to work out several tense knots for him as well; we both felt much more relaxed and less achy post-massage. I walked in and had my notepad on my phone to let them know my name and my appointment time. I did not have to wait at all. Of the woman brought me back into a nice cozy relaxing room. Once I got myself undressed she came and proceeded to give me a Swideish massage. It was very good. Not a single complaint and I would go back again. They were very affordable. Just to let you know it was $90 for 1.5 but if you pay by card it's $99 plus tip. If you pay by cash it's $90 plus tip. Just something to think about.
