There's also a gazebo area that's perfect for lunch and a few benches where parents can relax. The park is conveniently located right next to the Waterworks Splash Pad, where kids can swim during the summer before enjoying a picnic under the gazebos. One downside is that there's only a porta-potty on site, and it isn't very clean--so it's best to make a restroom stop before arriving.

Aside from the occasional grocery shopping trip, I truly do not go out except to walk. The forest trails here are so pretty and most of the time there's no one else there. It's just me, the birds (listen for the woodpeckers!), the abundant squirrels, and an occasional deer. There are many different entrances to the trails, so you can look at the maps online and decide which one you'd like to take. (Look up Neabsco Greenway TrThe trees are marked with different colors/lines to help you know which trail you are on. However, I do recommend bringing a phone with GPS capabilities if you are going for a long walk, just in case you happen to lose your way, especially as the landscape changes with the seasons. Most of the path will be gravel or flat dirt, although some sections can get really muddy if there's been a good rain. They also recommend using tick spray, although I've never had any bites when sticking to the established trails. Be sure to be respectful to others by staying at least 6 feet away if you happen to cross paths. These trails provide a great place to get some fresh air and enjoy nature!

I really enjoy going to the LA Fitness in Woodbridge. From the moment you walk in, the staff sets a…read morepositive tone--Rudy and E always greet me with a smile. Rudy, in particular is personable, and has great energy no matter the time of day, which is especially encouraging on those days when motivation is low. The customer service at this location stands out and is noticeably better compared to other locations I've visited (specifically the Lorton location). The staff is consistently helpful, approachable, and willing to assist whenever needed. I also appreciate that when equipment is down, it's typically repaired or replaced within a reasonable timeframe, which helps keep workouts uninterrupted. Even during busy times, parking has never been an issue, which is a huge plus. The Kids Club is another highlight--it's spacious, and the staff genuinely seems to enjoy working with children. It's reassuring to know your little ones are in good hands while you focus on your workout. Overall, this location offers a great balance of strong customer service, well-maintained facilities, and a welcoming environment. Also the district manager Tyler is a lovely human-being.
