We walked through the petting zoo, there was horses, sheep, goats, roosters, turkeys, pigs, cows, the kids got a kick out of it. We each got a small pumpkin to paint or take home which the kids really enjoyed. They offered horse drawn rides, tractor rides, face painting, story time with mother goose & a corn maze (which was not much of a maze). It is really perfect for kids 2-10. The store offers a selection of breads, pies, jams and produce. They sell ice cream, and had cider donuts available and outside they have a small shack that sells hot dogs, chips, etc. Overall we spent about 2 hours here and really enjoyed it!

The brownish tomatoes were great for snacking with salt and pepper, but we also made a caprese with them. The melon was fresh, juicy and sweet, but mild. The rind was soft enough to eat! A few items looked like they had started to go bad, but overall the selection was interesting. When they're not staffed, they use an honor system with prices listed on a board and a cash box, and they also accept Venmo. The prices were reasonable for a farm stand, and I like supporting local farmers whenever I can. I've seen they do CSA here, and I may try it out this year.

If you've been to Sweet Berry Farm in Middletown, Four Town is kind of similar, although the rustic farmhouse-chic shop does not have a prepared foods counter. However, they more than make up for it with all the amazing vegetables and fruits grown onsite. I was very impressed with the Honeycrisp Apples and Butternut Squash, as well as their wide selection of house made jellies and salad dressings. In addition to Four Town's slate of offerings, they also showcase other local vendors such as Wrights Dairy Farm's milk and cakes and Venda Ravioli's frozen fresh pasta and sauces. Four Town also carries fresh flowers and greenery that is holiday-ready - Christmas Trees and decorative wreaths and evergreen garlands. The team is friendly and offers excellent assistance in recommendations and recipe ideas- everyone we interacted with was delightful.
