We ordered the pasta with pork belly and it was apparently souvied first then fried to make it crispy. I am all about crispy pork belly and this did not disappoint. The dish was a bit oily and spicy for wine so we had cocktails with it. I wanted a Canadian whiskey and saw they had an old fashioned on the menu with a macalony's braiche whiskey so I ordered it up. When I was watching the bartender make it I noticed he used a signal whiskey instead and when I asked about he said they had changed their menu and now they use the signal whiskey. But he was able to give me another drink and then we got to compare the two. There was a different smoke taste to the macaloney braiche whiskey. Also a bit disappointed we could not sit on their upstairs patio with our dog, but instead sat at bar and made the most of it. Love the space and ambience.
