The sound was good and there were two jumbo projectors that ensured the whole crowd can see what's going on. The park was very clean and orderly. Going through security was a breeze and no headaches. We were able to bring our own chairs and small cooler for water and drinks. It was crowded but the energy was amazing and respectful. I came for the last installment but I will definitely be back to this park if there is more to come.

A bit noisy and since its neighboring JFK airport there's the added airplane noises. Kids don't seem to mind or care for that matter. During hot months it's a heat buster heaven with the giant frog sprinklers blasting. Most areas are shaded by trees and wind is always blowing here. Lots of benches around and some tables with chairs. Basketball court and handball courts are at one end. Major downside here however is that there's no bathroom. The location serves as more like a backyard playground to many of the homes that are across the street . Still not a good excuse to not have a bathroom. There's no direct parking spots right outside the park either. Its the kind of location that you would probably drive by and then wonder how to get into the park but by that time you've already passed it. So the tip is to drive down Lefferts Blvd a block or 2 and find parking on one of the side streets to the left or right . Then walk back to the park. (Be careful crossing- it's the Conduit after all,but there is a crosswalk) If you're ever flight delayed this is a good park to come with little ones to kill time and burn off some energy. Its a quick walk over from the Long Term Parking area at JFK. You'll see lots of airline workers who live close by walking to work.

The park has a nice shaded area and a decent amount of threes that makes for some real nice scenery. This park is good for after school, or just chilling out on the benches enjoying some music. I go through this park on a regular basis it is about less than a block away from the jfk airport .and the jfk airtrain is right there also .and if you are interested in long term parking it is also there. The climbing areas can be challenging and perfect for active children and teens, while the smaller slides are ideal for smaller kids and toddlers. Those two areas are distinct from each other, which seems like a nice touch to prevent inadvertent collisions. Plenty of swings and a nearby restroom make it even more of an ideal playground than most. But the greatest feature is the water park. Sure, it's a simple element where you have large sprinklers to cool off on hot summer days, but it's such a treat ... and usually the most popular part of the fun, at least until the ice-cream truck arrives!

My niece spent at least an hour climbing up and down them. I would suggest having your kids keep their shoes on as there was some broken glass. The parents all jumped in and cleaned it up but something to keep your eye on. They also had sprinklers there which the kids loved to run thru. Plenty of benches for the grown ups. They also had a working water fountain. I think the Ice Cream Truck makes regular rounds. I heard the jingle a lot.

This is my home park for my boys, they have spent hours and hours on this 3.25 acres, running…read morearound the ball fields, or playing in the playground. It has swings (baby and big kid), slides, bridges, jungle gyms and water between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The bathrooms are functional, and when they are locked, there's always the fields. They have houses to sit in, and rubber ground so the kiddies don't hurt themselves. Sometimes there's an aggressive game of kickball, that resists transfer to the field, and sometimes you can smell cannabis from the local teenagers. Rarely is there a hobo in the houses, but once there was. They play lots of ball games on the fields on the weekends when the weather is good, and my sons have played ball there too. Sometimes the city provides a person who brings out balls or coloring pages and markers, though I haven't seen someone this year, maybe due to cutbacks in the down economy. There is some real diversity in terms of cultures here, from Jewish to Hispanic, to Indian and Polish, plus Asian. I think I'm the only WASP, but the Poles remind me of Wisconsin. At different times you see different people. Saturday is a big time for the Jewish families, all dressed up. Met a Druze mother, and all kinds of Hispanics from all over the world. Lots of very interesting people here, and often very friendly. My sons have spent quite a lot of time here, and the people are very friendly and helpful, it has a community feel to it, even if some of the people don't speak English very well. Lots of Indians here too. Also close to convenient pizza and bodegas up the block. A lovely park, to spend lots of good outside time for the children.
