Thankful for the Maryland State Police to check on me, when after 2 hours of waiting, the State Police said, we could call someone to pick you up. Indeed, they did. Wendall and his wife, Jennifer, came to my rescue, hooked my car up, and drove me to the town of La Vale, Maryland. Black Dog Towing's owner knew that there was a vehicle tire care center in La Vale opened on Sundays. Not only did we secure the vehicle at this care center but before that took place, we went to three hotels until one had an reasonable offer. Wendell drove me to the Tire Center, dropped of the car, and the drove me back to the Best Western hotel. Professional and down-to-earth operator with fair and an affordable price. Since the repair did not last for more than a day we took it back to them so they could repair whatever went wrong. Instead we ended up paying for a new compressor and and they charged us for labor. After leaving from getting the second compressor repair, the compressor started leaking again in less than 24 hours because they forgot to put one of the gaskets on the hosing. This shop has poor craftsmanship and bad customer service as well. I also had to get my trailer fixed however that repair did not hold up for more than 24 hours either!!!! Since the trailer issue was noticed by DOT I had to pay someone else for their poor craftsmanship and after being repaired by someone else we never had any other issues with the trailer. I've never been more disappointed in a mechanic till now. It's been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE dealing with this small town mechanic. Please save your money and time and do NOT take your truck here!

We were very lucky that Steve Davis, owner of Action Towing was called to the scene to pick up our car. We could not get a rental car since it was after noon on a Saturday and the only full service rental car agency in the county had closed for the weekend. Steve called around for some other alternatives and when those did not bear fruit, he went to incredible lengths to make sure we had a vehicle to drive for the remainder of the holiday weekend and beyond if we needed it. They refuse to believe half of it until WE have to physically show them the issues.
