Wendall and his wife, Jennifer, came to my rescue, hooked my car up, and drove me to the town of La Vale, Maryland. Black Dog Towing's owner knew that there was a vehicle tire care center in La Vale opened on Sundays. Not only did we secure the vehicle at this care center but before that took place, we went to three hotels until one had an reasonable offer. I called the local AAA certified mechanic, and he referred us to Steve at Action Towing. Steve was responsive, kind, and considerate. He jumped into action. Drove out 40 odd minutes to our location, and towed us another 30 minutes to the only tire shop in the area that was open at the time. Friendly, efficient service. Reasonable charge. We were very lucky that Steve Davis, owner of Action Towing was called to the scene to pick up our car. We could not get a rental car since it was after noon on a Saturday and the only full service rental car agency in the county had closed for the weekend. Steve called around for some other alternatives and when those did not bear fruit, he went to incredible lengths to make sure we had a vehicle to drive for the remainder of the holiday weekend and beyond if we needed it.
