I live two hours away from the salon and had recently booked two massages for my bestfirend and I who travels to visit me from California. The day before our appointments I ended up severely sick. I called that night to let them know that I was not going to be able to make the drive because of how ill I was but it was after business hours. The day of my appointment I ended up in the emergency room and didn't think to call them a second time because it was not my main priority. Five minutes in to when my appointments were booked I received a call from the salon but was getting my blood drawn. I called them back immediately to let them know I was I unable to make it because I was so sick and there was no way I could make the drive. They explained to me that they had to charge me the full fee for both of the appointments. I asked to speak to a manger and she said she would have one call me. I remained polite and respectful the entire time. When the so called "manager" called me back she would not let me get a word out to explain to her that I was so ill and physically unable to make the appointment. It was not that I didn't want to attend the appointments, its that I physically could not. I asked that she work with me, and she just continued to yell me on the phone for ten minutes about how "her people got to get paid". I completly understand however in situations like this it seems highly insensitive to charge someone full price for two massages while they lay in the emergency room and have a manager scream at them for ten minutes straight. I was told numerous times this so called manager would call me back after speaking with the owner but she never did, three weeks later. I was willing to pay a penalty fee but to charge me the entire price for a situation that was out of my control is extremely harsh. Honestly just grossed out by this business as a whole. read more

Here visiting from San Francisco, and I desperately needed my haircut to feel good and alive again. I called and made an appointment for the next day. The receptionist was super friendly and matched me with the best hair dresser for my needs. At my appointment, I was offered a beverage of my choice but with COVID, I didn't feel comfortable taking my mask off to drink so I politely declined. Matt cut my hair and in addition to giving me a great haircut I really enjoyed the conversation and style tips he offered. Thanks, Matt! Only downside was seeing some of the employees and management walking around without a mask...no regard for others and their patrons' health. read more

I was visiting a friend for a girls' weekend and we came to Broadway Centre Spa for facials. First of all, $115 for an hour-long facial is entirely too much money. I'm from DC, and the normal price out here is around $80. Secondly, according to the website, I was supposed to get a scalp, neck, shoulder, hand, and foot massage included with my facial. The only thing included was a hand massage for less than ten minutes. Extractions should also be included, and this too was skipped. Last, my facial only lasted 30 minutes. When I complained, the owner only offered me half my money back. I didn't want to make a scene, for the sake of my friend, but I should have been completely refunded. Look for something else, if at all possible! $115 for an hour-long facial is highway robbery, even if everything that was supposed to be included was included, and it didn't even come close! read more

This review is about their massage services. I have not used their salon. The good: complimentary steam shower before your massage. This is a huge plus for me. It's very relaxing and a very nice large steam shower with stocked toiletries. I've been through a few masseuses there; most were okay but not great for deep tissue, until I discovered Nick. Hopefully readers are comfortable with a male masseuse because he is In my opinion the best in town (and I've been through my fair share). I hope he doesn't get burnt out with his job because he is very good. Broadway salon and spa is lucky to have him. There is also complimentary tea and beverages which is nice. Some people might say it's too expensive at this place, but to me it's fair given the positives. The bad: broadway salon and spa is a very good place, but it's the small details that separates it from being a top notch luxury spa like those found in large cities and fancy resorts--employees will use the bathroom in the locker room for customers (awkward), the waiting area for massages is a hallway right next to the laundry room which you can hear running, music is turned too loud in an attempt to drown out the noise laundry room, though it's not too bad. In all, these are small but noticeable. The bottom line: You can't beat a relaxing stream shower followed by a great massage (recommend nick) at this place. Recommend. read more

I came here after getting a really really bad cut and color at another salon. Lil saved the day! She took her time and was very patient with my upset self, even compromising other clients of hers to fix my hair. She explained the long and tedious process to repair my hair. This place will be the only place I will go to now! They have a nice place and I like how the spa, nails and hair were in their separate areas. This place is expensive though! read more

This Atmosphere of this salon is very amazing also the spa packages are to die for!! Chelsea M. does a great job with hair cuts and colors also extensions!! and the owner is there working, as a client who sees this, it is an absolute treat because you can ask her an opinion and she will tell you her suggestions, it's nice to see the owner take pride in what she does, and takes care of her clients and her ''baby" (salon).
