The support staff is friendly and helpful, the hygienists and dentists have always been great, and I've no complaints. Dr. Barrett is tops. When I broke a tooth recently, she squeezed me in the same morning I called. She administered local anesthesia with no pain and put in a crown quickly with no fuss. The bite is perfect. She explained the treatment options thoroughly and she took care that I was comfortable at all times. I highly recommend her.

And i dont think that will change as I do not feel admin cares about the individual patient. They DO care that they make money. Remember that PCHC fired all of their dentists and made them apply to get their jobs back at different rates of pay recently. My broken front tooth held on with the splint for a year and a couple of months despite having been there 5 times for my broken tooth, they told me i wasnt an established patient, and they were full when i tried to make a follow-up appointment after they had their overhaul of the entire practice. 1 year later and my broken tooth and the one next it were pulled and I'm getting bridgework at Stillwater Dental. I know it's not always like that as they are extremely booked, but I was so happy to get the dentist appointment behind me. I was called and reminded of my appointment on Tuesday and was told I was able to fill out all new patient paperwork online (and submit online without needing a printer). Talk about efficient and a timesaver! I arrived to the appointment 10 minutes early figuring there would be something else I would need to fill out, but there wasn't (yay!) and promptly at 11:00 was seen. Jessie greeted me at the door as though I were an old friend and everyone behind the desk appeared to be in great moods! My dental hygenist was so cool. She sat and talked with me for a few minutes, giving me an outline of how the appointment would go and explaining what procedures needed to be done and why. I feel like my professors were more vague on what would be on final exams! When she took x-rays of my mouth, she was extremely professional the entire time but was still human and made me laugh. It's nice to see people that clearly enjoy their job so much. Once the x-rays were over and I was comfortably laid back in the chair, she started to clean my teeth. She was extremely thorough and careful and stopped often to ask me questions or let me talk, unlike other dentist appointments where you feel like their goal is to scrape every tooth bare and told to compromise the gums. The rooms are also extremely updated and hi-tech which was comforting. Dr. Sevey came in (though only very briefly, which shocked me, but I don't have any underlying mouth issues, so that was ok) but he was engaged and clearly extremely knowledgeable in his field (particularly regarding tooth implants). We finished up with fluoride (which is like a sandy coating on your teeth, but you can eat immediately) - I recommend the melon flavor - and I was all set! In and out in an hour and very happy with my visit. I did not use dental insurance for my visit and thought the price was extremely affordable. If I weren't moving out of the country, I would be counting down the days to my next visit. My only hope is that after reading this, you don't waste any time in becomming a patient at CDS; your teeth deserve it.

I heard the dentist, that filled it say, he didn't realize that tooth was so bad until they started filling it.. Long story short, when my top denture was ready and my partial plate was ready I went in to get them.. The top plate was fine, until one of the teeth fell out..I was not happy! When I found out I had one tooth on the partial plate that cost me $1000.00 dollars I was surprised I wasn't told it was one tooth ..All in all the total bill was $3200.00.. I don't wear the partial plate because I didn't like a mouthful of metal and one tooth.. I am back to my old dentures after two years.. What a waste of my money.. I am very disappointed.. After having little to no luck finding a dentist who could help me, I went to my pc's office's Patient Care Coordinator to see if she knew of any places that could potentially help me; after weeks of waiting and calling, she finally got a referral to Aspen Dental and to say that I was happy to learn of Aspen Dental, would be putting it mildly. I set up my first consultation appointment for March 20th 2018 at 1pm; my only day off during the week; I wrote this date down in bold print with a marker, I was not going to dare to forget this date. The 20th of March came and with fiancee, we drove 3 hours down from Presque Isle, ME to Bangor, ME. This day was months and years in the making. As we pulled into the parking lot, I felt so excited and nervous at the same time. I walk in, sign in and, was then asked what my last name is. After a few minutes I'm asked, "What time is you appointment?" "1 o'clock" I'm asked to have a seat. After a minute or 3, "Ma'am, we have your appointment for next week the 27th at 1o'clock." I said, "I called just a couple of days ago and confirmed my appointment is for day!" I'm asked again to have a seat. Few minutes past by, "We can squeeze you in at 3:45pm if you want to go back home and come back?" "That doesn't work for me. I live in Presque Isle." I repeat myself and said, "I called and confirmed the date of my first appointment was for today at 1pm. I really don't instead how I confirmed the datejust says ago but I'm not called to be told the date needed to be changed rather the date is changed without my knowledge and I just wasted a day off on top of wasting gas only to be told I was wrong about the date. After that I called every other day to ensure my appointment was indeed for the 27th at 1pm and nothing has changed that. My appoint came and went without a hitch. Skip forward to 2 days ago, I'm ready for extractions. I forgo on the being knocked out because I can't afford it; after my experience, I highly recommend that a local to be offered or laighing gas because the procedure I had done on me and the pain I'm in is so bad. Along with not having a little help to relax my body as a whole would made my mouth less traumatized. The doc's bedside manor needs reboored too. I'm not saying I don't recommend Aspen Dental, I do very much recommend them; aside from the hiccups, Aspen Dental seriously is reconmended!!

Because of that, they cancelled my appointment and made me reschedule -- even though I had already confirmed earlier in the week through their own system. To make matters worse, they had the wrong appointment time on file, which is their error not mine. When I called to explain the situation, nobody seemed to care at all. No apology, no effort to work something out, just "you'll have to reschedule." If you work non-traditional hours or have a busy schedule, just be aware that a missed call -- even after you've already confirmed -- can cost you your appointment here.
