I was made aware what would and wouldn't be covered by my insurance and I double checked with my insurance to make sure a well. The Laser treatments I've received at this practice are top notch and have completely changed my oral health for the better. I had a complete 180% in my oral environment. 100% recommend. This office also worked in tandem with my dentist and orthodontist to contribute to my overall treatment journey.

So we went ahead and did it and big shock, North East Delta Dental my insurance provider does not cover procedures at 100% done by this practice (maybe 20-30% coverage at most). They are not in network for them. Surprize, we got a $907 bill. They also performed a LPDQ - Laser Pocket Disinfection by Quad procedure, that is almost $100 for ach quad. Please do yourself a favor and save your money. It is no better than the traditional scaleing. In short, if you are a State of Maine employee please do not go here. The closest periodontist that is in network is near Portland, ME. Nothing in Bangor / Brewer. They also scheduled two sessions for initial comprehensive evaluation (on 03/26/2015) and then another for an X-Ray (on 04/14/2015) and charged my insurance twice, which my did not cover in full. I also had to waste almost half a day away from work. Why not do everything in one go? I had to write a bunch of emails back and forth to get the charges reversed. In short, there are better practices in Bangor or even in Portland, stay away from this place. OK done venting now. Thank you for reading my review.

Dr. Nicole has a very down-to-earth personality that immediately puts you at ease. The support staff is friendly and helpful, the hygienists and dentists have always been great, and I've no complaints. Dr. Barrett is tops. When I broke a tooth recently, she squeezed me in the same morning I called. She administered local anesthesia with no pain and put in a crown quickly with no fuss. The bite is perfect. She explained the treatment options thoroughly and she took care that I was comfortable at all times. I highly recommend her.

So for their incompetence by not being able to receive emails and not returning calls or picking up the phone I am stuck paying a bill because it was beneficial for them to have the x-rays taken that first appointment intake review. I heard the dentist, that filled it say, he didn't realize that tooth was so bad until they started filling it.. Long story short, when my top denture was ready and my partial plate was ready I went in to get them.. The top plate was fine, until one of the teeth fell out..I was not happy! When I found out I had one tooth on the partial plate that cost me $1000.00 dollars I was surprised I wasn't told it was one tooth ..All in all the total bill was $3200.00.. I don't wear the partial plate because I didn't like a mouthful of metal and one tooth.. I am back to my old dentures after two years.. What a waste of my money.. I am very disappointed..
