Came back at 6:30p, waited only 10 minutes this time! (They're open until 9p) Once vaccinated you wait with RN for 15 minutes in case of reaction. Very nice RN Gonzalez. I work in the prison system in a hospital setting (UTMB) and have been tested 10 times in the last 17 months since Covid began...so far so good. BUT, This deviant (LOL! variant) bastard of this virus can suck it...several hospitals between here and Beaumont are now at capacity in ICU and are again running out of ventilators/supplies. Im still uneasy about this vaccine...and my feelings/theory aren't subject to debate (by the way) but, here I am...may the Lord keep me healthy! Pfizer is the ONLY one offered here and my preference. It's 7:30pm...just tried calling them (because they're open until 9p, right?) Well, I waited 10 minutes and recording said hold time was greater than 15 minutes...PFFT! Lies! Go to CVS/Walgreens/Kroger...probably quicker all the way around.

She is very friendly, thorough and explains everything. Super sweet and great with kids. She listens, very helpful and will answer any questions or concerns you have. It was pretty busy today, New Year's Eve when we came in for a well visit and immunization but we were seen right on schedule.

She went above and beyond, sending more than I needed in pharmaceutical prescriptions to Walmart, with refills. Then she handed me her card, looked me in the eye, and said, "Now Toni, if you need anything else, you let me know, and we'll take good care of you." And I could tell she meant it. Today is Sunday, I feel better in my lungs, and cough, but I am now coughing up signs of infection from my lungs. With one quick call to Natalie in the office, she carefully noted my request for an antibiotic. Minutes later, she called me back to get the zip code of my hotel in Jacksonville so she could locate a nearby pharmacy. The doctor on call had my prescription sent there for pickup the next day when I arrive. Joanna took the time to look me in the eye and make me feel cared for. Natalie took the time on the phone to make sure I knew I was going to be okay. We need more caregivers who operate from their humanity as their greatest amenity in business. If I am ever back in Galveston, this is where I'm going. In fact, I'm holding onto their number. BTW -- when I asked Natalie what I owed for the phone consultation, she told me they were happy to help. WOW. I wish I could give them a million stars.
