Normally taking my car to get an oil change is like a $200 ordeal every place I've gone to the prices are ridiculous. I bought a Groupon for Broadway tire for an oil change and it cost me like 60 bucks and I'm thinking when I get there they'll be like an up charge or something nope 60 bucks I couldn't believe it. Then I asked them like what the regular price would be and it was 110 literally half the price of what I've been paying everywhere else. They were so nice. I have been coming to this automotive shop for years. Several weeks ago I was experiencing automotive problems with a cylinder of my car. Instead of fixing the actually problem the replaced an exhaust pipe ($600 later) and did not even diagnose the problem and sent me back with my car still shaking and sounding loud. The next day I scheduled an appointment: they held my car the whole day and they did not tell me until the last minute that my car was not going to be looked at. I am completely appalled and unhappy how I was treated. People with appointments should come first over other people. read more

Avoid this place. They replaced an almost new K&N filter that has a sticker on it clearly stating 'STOP DO NOT DISCARD' because it is a washable filter. They proceeded to remove and discard the filter and replace it with a cheap filter and charge me for it. I've been to several auto shops through the years and this is the only place that couldn't comprehend what a K&N washable filter was. Update: Both the owner and original person I spoke with called and they were both very professional, apologetic and gave me a good explanation of what happened. It was a misunderstanding and because they were having phone issues that day(maybe because of the wind & snow) the phone hung up before he could explain to me how they could assist. I was having car issues that day and needed urgent assistance so the call was off putting to me, but them calling and explaining everything was great customer service. I do still recommend them for oil changes, per my first review, but I will most likely go elsewhere for service. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ They are rude, had an issue with my car after service(with the brakes I had serviced, but they did fix the issue) and not helpful in times of need. Most recently I called to have them fix my tire and they told me to go to a dealership because the tire key is broken. I asked if they could change the tire without it and they said yes but it's an hour service fee and just hung up on me before I can say anything. I know it wasn't a mistake so I just let it be. My alignment was outsourced to Broadway, so I had no knowledge or say to where it was being sent. When I got it back the truck was not aligned properly and was pulling hard left. It just didn't seem right that they sent a vehicle out the door being so off. I'm not going to take it back for them to fix. This is a safety issue and it wasn't done right the first time. I took my vehicle to another shop and paid for another alignment. The tech said to me "Whoever did your alignment didn't know what they were doing. It wasn't even close." Now it drives straight as an arrow. This was my experience yours may be different. I'm not trying to bash, just tell the truth. I know if getting an alignment came up in conversation with a friend or family member I'd make sure they'd hear about this experience. read more

Went for state inspection everything seemed to be good until I turned my car on the next day an my check engine light came on, I haven't been using my car because of the inspection that light shouldn't of came on. I came here because my tire had a hole in it and needed to be either plugged or have the donut put on as they didn't have my tire in stock. Even though it was literally 30 mins before closing they were nice enough to put on my donut as they weren't able to plug the tire and they didn't charge me anything, which I still gave the mechanic a tip as I wouldn't have made it home at a decent time if they didn't help me. They do not honor tire warranty protection & charged $129 to fix one tire under warranty. They even secretly charged $14.95 to put me into another warranty protection without my permission. If you are a woman, you will be discriminated against. I am a laid teacher off teacher in the area and would not recommend or return here. Had a Groupon for oil change. Groupon required an appointment. Made appointment for late afternoon. Showed up 5-10 minutes before. Was told it would be about 30-40 minutes. 50 minutes later my car was taken in. Upon completion of job was advised that my brakes were real bad and should be done ASAP. And they should be done before weekend. I said I would have my mechanic take care if it. But asked for a price in case he was too busy. Was able to get my truck to my mechanic last night. He called today and asked who said I needed brakes. That they were fine and probably had another 10,000 miles on them. Unreal. Although once the truck was brought in the oil change was quick. I brought my truck for an alignment and tire balance yesterday morning. They told me $209 They could not find my truck that day I got it back today. They never called to say that it would over that amount. My boyfriend went to pick it up my bill was $356. I feel violated for wheel alignment, tire balance, and a camber bushing. I am a huge fan of Broadway Tire! I've been coming here for all things related to my car for now about 3 years. I have every oil change here - with their groupon, so it's only $16. In addition, I came here when my tire light came on in my car. The people here saw that there was a nail in in and simply patched it up - charging me a simple $2.00 for the patch! I also had the plastic body underneath the front bumper come off while on the road. I came into the shop with the fallen of part and the people told me honestly that this did not require a whole fix. I could keep the dragging piece of plastic up with a ziptie. And if I wanted to fix it up later, it'd be about $250 for the parts and the job. And they didn't charge me a single dollar! This shop could have easily made this whole situation more than it needed to be, but they always handle my car with honestly - something I greatly appreciate as a woman walking into a car dealership alone. They were very accommodating as I used their Groupon I was trying to fix some vibration on my car above a speed rating and they ended up finding out it was actually my Axle. I genuinely cannot say enough great things about this business. I've been coming here for almost 4 years now and they provide excellent service time after time. My car was having issues today with the engine starting - it's a Saturday and I called them around 11:30. Jimmy told me to come in and they'll take a look at it. Izzy provided such great service in looking at my car. They ended up swapping out the battery for me. They did all of this for me last minute without an appointment when they were about to close in less than 2 hours! My car door randomly decided that it didn't want to close anymore and it was the last day to get it inspected. I was panicking trying to find a place to figure out how to solve this issue. I called Broadway and luckily, I talked to Bob who calmed me down and told me to bring it in even though I hadn't set up an appointment prior. I found out I needed to get the part elsewhere and he told me they can inspect the car right then and there. Even though the car failed the inspection (obviously) and I couldn't get the part fixed there, he recommended another place, and even called them to let them know I was coming. I chose this place because of other Yelpers reviews. The only drawback to this place is that they're extremely busy on Saturdays, so don't expect to get out of there quickly. I came here to have my brake pads replaced due to squeaky brakes, but they came out and told me that my brakes were actually in great shape and just needed to be cleaned out and adjusted. When I found out the news I was shocked and asked how much the cost would be. When I was told only $20 for labor I immediately said "please do it" and now the brakes sound great and stop a bit quicker than before. What I learned here is that place is VERY trustworthy, I'd definitely come back here again and I'd also suggest the place to anyone in the Pawtucket and Attleboro areas. read more

They're reasonably priced, and it's one of those places that wants your business and will work hard to keep it. Friendly staff. Free wifi in their lounge area. I didn't know much about tires, but Gary did quite a bit of research to help me find the ideal tires and gave me a little tire education, too. Free tire rotation on the tires they install, and they patch it for free if you have a flat, which is apparently a big deal. They even gave me a free tire gauge without asking. Took my car here for an RI inspection. They told me that my car has to be in the shop for 4 hours for an "honest" inspection. They passed my truck even though my passenger side mirror needs to be replaced which I was quite happy about. They are pressing me pretty hard to buy new tires because mine are supposedly "worn out" even though another shop has told me that I have quite a few miles left on my tires. My hubby's '98 Jeep Cherokee is on her last legs. And that's an understatement. Broadway Tire has gotten the old girl back on the road three times in the past 6 months, without breaking the bank. So the shop lobby isn't anything fancy, but these guys aren't the stereotypical rip-off artist mechanics. They get me in as soon as they can, sometimes just as I walk in when they just open or if I waltz in when I think they're crazy busy with the midday rush. They're always listening to exactly what my needs or concerns are, explain completely whats needed without talking down to me; in addition to severity of the issue, length of time needed and cost, so there are no surprises. Their prices and work are more than fair. There are times I've gone in for extensive work that I was told would take 2 hours and been out of there in less than an hour.
