Unfortunately our water heater decided it wanted to wash our basement floor more than it wanted to wash us this past weekend. After striking out trying to find a company to help us out, we luckily heard about Brock Mechanical from a local Facebook group. My wife called the company and immediately spoke to Douglas who is the owner. He was very engaged, seemed genuinely interested in understanding the situation, took his time, and went out of his way to fit in a late-afternoon visit from one of his team. We had Ken out a few hours later, fitting us into his schedule to review the situation first hand, performed some diagnostic work (e.g. water softener settings; water hardness test) to check if there may have been a conflating issue that would cause the heater to fail. On the spot he was able to give me a quote for a replacement installation with the company sorting out the warranty claim for us. He coordinated that for the very next morning. Yesterday we had Kyle out bright and early to take care of the installation. He was also great to interact with, kept the house clean, communicated a lot of details about the work so I knew what was going on, and identified a number of less-than-ideal (bordering on dangerous) issues from the prior heater installation that was done by another company. He remediated all of those issues and the quality was very apparent versus what I had before this team. Even with these two visits, extra quality improvements, and ~24 hour turnaround end-to-end, the final bill came in UNDER the already reasonable quote. I think it's impossible to nail every job perfectly, but it's important that you work with a company who wants to provide that level of service every time they take on work. My sense is that this tight-nit team understands how to take care of people, have real pride in their work, and appreciate your business. They spoke to each other often to sync up on ideas/concerns/get feedback; they clearly trust each other and know that using their collective knowledge is always better than trying to be right alone. While I hope to have less emergent problems in the future, I at least know who is getting my phone call and money for any plumbing needs from now on. Our kitchen drain deep behind a wall had backed up and was leaking dirty water in our basement. This was only a week from Thanksgiving which we were hosting. Needlessly to say we were freaked out. To make matters worse very few plumbers were available. We called around and were referred to Brock Mechanical. They sent Ken Jackson out to us the same day we called, while other plumbers were telling us they weren't available until after Thanksgiving. Ken assessed the situation and came up with a elegant solution which avoid tearing up walls right before the big holiday. As promised he came back two days later and implemented the elegant solution in a matter of a few hours. He went above and beyond the job he was requested to do, by noticing our kitchen faucet was running slow and cleaned it out as best he could. They charged us a reasonable amount and I don't have to repair a torn up wall right before Thanksgiving. I can't recommend Brock Mechanical enough for all plumbing needs. read more

I called about my clogged toilet on a Thursday afternoon, the next morning Ken came out to take a look at it. He was very friendly and very professional. He fixed my toilet with no problem. Our hot water tank started to leak on a Tuesday and Brock Mechanical was out on Thursday with a new tank and ready to install. Doug provided an estimate over the phone and Ken did a fantastic job on the install! He explained everything about the install before he started, showed us the sediment that had built up in the old unit and how to prevent it in the new tank to increase its life, and removed the old unit which was extremely heavy.
