I had a choice of pizza or a terrific looking menu. The food was delicious. Everybody was very helpful. They answered all the questions. We forgot candles and somehow they came up with candles for us. Last year was just as good as this year. The game room was very popular with young and old. This place is very raw and industrial and is more for artists and like metal shop or construction type companies, not professionals to use the space. It is basically an old warehouse turned into offices and small spaces for, what it looks like crafters and artists and not much else. The office I was in was freezing during the winter, the ceiling leaked all over my desk and the entire place is drafty and just not a nice place to work out of. As I mention in my profile, this is my opinion of course and not sure what I was expecting for the price I paid but this was not it.

NSC is a fantastic casual place to spend an evening. Informal seating, some tables and scattered chairs, seems like more chairs were brought out as needed but not sure there were seats for everyone though. Easy entry, no big city search and crowds, no parking worries or cost, beer, wine soda and snacks available. Meant to ask if ok to bring in a beer from Percival. Will definitely watch for future events to attend here. One suggestion would be to be a little more accurate on length and schedule of performance as Refugee did not actually play for 3 hours as described and we left wanting more.

Their original furniture shall not be touched, as evidenced by the ropes gently blocking one's way. Other furniture, you could not only touch but even sit up on, as they were replications. It wasn't the largest estate I've visited - the top floor was also off limits - but it was amazing to realize that this place was a relatively recent acquisition by Historic New England portfolio.

One of the staff members was awesome and let us sit in front of the couch to take a picture with the Christmas tree. (They rent out the space for filming & photoshoots. There are bathrooms available for visitor use.) It offers both guided and self guided tours. There are two floors open for visitors and a large front porch where they have rocking chairs in the summer to see the view. There are also walking trails that go through the estate. It will look spectacular with the fall leaves.

I know the words Yacht Club can conjure up something very exclusive and snooty, however those words…read moredon't describe this very down to earth and well-run place. If you have a boat, you have to keep it somewhere and we have belonged to a few of the local marinas since moving to the South Shore. While many may be fancier than this, Metropolitan Yacht Club, hands down has been the friendliest marina we've belonged to. Although we only joined this year, we have already met a host of lovely boaters of all kinds. The club hosts several dinners and events throughout the season in the large clubhouse where the function room can also be rented for your own private party. The facilities are comfortable and come equiped with everything you might need,showers, bathrooms, washer/dryer. The dock spaces are great and there are moorings as well. People have gone out of their way to welcome us and we've enjoyed hanging out at the dock just as much as actually taking the boat out for a ride. We look forward to continued great seasons of boating and having fun at this club.

I posted this on Facebook as well - the safety issue should not be ignored!!…read more We've been to countless concerts and venues, including Vegas, fenway, and gillette. The exit from this concert was not only unorganized, it was DANGEROUS!! I almost got hit 2x walking to our suv. Then my 16 year old and I were getting in the vehicle and a big truck came within inches of us at a ridiculous speed for a packed parking lot!! He was at least 4 inches from me. The concert was amazing, as always for train but I've never been in a facility with so many entitled, self-centered people with no regard for anyone. Couple this with the dangerous exit, you might want to hire experienced people for a concert that is sold out!! The staff were very nice though!! And there were other positives such as clean bathrooms. Do something about the safety when leaving before someone gets hurt!!!
