Not only was the video work of excellent quality, but Sean was fantastic to work with -- I had some very specific ideas around both the montages as well as the final video and Sean was incredibly collaborative, open to feedback, and easy to work with to make sure what was delivered was what we were looking for. This wasn't the case with Stephen! He made us feel at ease and was very professional. He gave us plenty of tips and was more than open to our suggestions. We visited several different locations around Berkeley for our photos, which I really appreciated. We had a wide variety of backgrounds to choose from and they all looked great. I also liked that there was a good balance of portraits versus candid shots. I've seen collections by other photographers where the couple never looked directly at the camera or were always facing forward. It's good to have a mix. The quality of the photos were also great - we had many shots that didn't need any editing. Stephen also got our photos in online albums right away so we could check them out. Overall, it was a very easy process and enjoyable experience, all thanks to Stephen. Probably the least stressful part of planning a wedding. I highly recommend Stephen!! Check out his website, too. I was so comfortable with him, especially since it was my FIRST professional photos. He was very helpful with positioning my face/body to get the best natural looking pictures. We worked for a few hours, went to a few locations, and did a couple of outfit changes. I got a lot of really good pictures from it! When my boyfriend (now husband) proposed to me, he hired Dusty to take pictures for it! He knew how much I loved his work, so he ended up shooting our wedding. I am SO glad we chose to get a professional to do this... we gave out disposable cameras for the guest to shoot the wedding as well, but the shots are nothing like dusty's! Planning a wedding can be stressful but having Gerald made sure we NEVER had to worry about our photographer. He was super prompt with returning phone calls, emails and always available to meet if we wanted to talk to him in person. His work was fantastic and his assistants were great as well. We had a morning wedding and a break and then a reception in the evening. He was accommodating with our wired times. Daniel is very professional, detail-oriented, and very easy to talk to. You can tell he has a lot of passion for photography and really cares about his clients getting the shot/look over being strict on the timing laid out in the contract. Onto the photoshoot, my husband and I were really nervous about how to pose and not look awkward however Daniel quickly helped us loosen up. As we took more and more photos, we knew how to pose and it got really fun that we didn't want to stop. Daniel really goes out of his way to even do a venue site tour if he has never been to your venue before. He will help look at your bridal suite and around the venue to give you advice regarding space and lighting. This was huge for us because the original room we had was way too small. We upgraded to a bigger room with more lighting and this allowed us to have a smooth wedding day. Daniel is also very punctual, hard-working, and prepared. He always arrives early and is very communicative which is a plus! He runs around to help capture the special moment for you and even prepares so many things such as a bubble gun for the signature look, placemat for your wedding flat lay, and adhesive suction hook to hang your wedding dress. I don't think I could handle spending that much time in front of a lens without good laughs and wit and Kevin is chalk full of both of them. I know he shot our friend's wedding and they have nothing but wonderful things to say about his work.
