Part of my leadership philosophy is being a human first, and having that come through, along with the corporate need, felt like a tall ask. Enter Flashpoint Collective. From the moment Dan and I started talking about this work, I knew I was in the right space. Dan was collaborative over text and email and a quick call, and when I arrived day of, he'd even hand-picked a couple background colors specifically for me based on our conversations. The day went by quickly, but I never once felt rushed. The space was homey, which I loved -- it made me feel more like I was collaborating with a friend on a project, which soothed my nerves a bit. Dan was an excellent director, offering suggestions for posing when I felt out of my element, and kept me plenty caffeinated too. After each set of photos (with specific backgrounds and outfits), Dan gave me a chance to look at the raw images to talk about what was working and what was not. I left feeling extremely confident there was at least one photo that would feel just right. The final images were delivered a few days (maybe a week?) later, and Dan kept me up to date on when they'd arrive. And OH MYLANTA THERE WERE SO MANY GOOD ONES. Inti and his team were professionals throughout and made the entire process as easy and efficient as possible (I didn't believe we would be able to finish all shooting in a single day, but we did). He remained open-minded to my vision, but at the same time suggested shooting locations and offered his advice given his experience; as a result, the end product well exceeded any of my expectations. Even during the editing process, Inti went above and beyond, making finishing touches to ensure quality at 100%, not just 99% (I want to thank Inti for his patience and dedication, especially dealing with my "OCD"). I'll give you just a few: HIGH-GRADE EQUIPMENT: The look and feel of the end product is as if you spent an outrageous amount for James Cameron's camera collection. The crispness of video and how it looks on the web and social media is extremely lush. I think customers relate the high-quality feel of my videos to my business's professionalism - because I'VE SEEN A BOOST IN SALES since putting out the videos they've created for me. FAST TURNAROUND TIME: One of the biggest headaches of companies I've worked with in the past - is the video person having to sync with the editing person and details/feedback getting lost in translation.
