They were wrong about him being aggressive, he only growled because they were giving the injection, like any other dog would do in that situation. I will never take another pet member there again.

Fearing a blockage I called the local vet that we normally take her to who told me that they couldn't see her because they were booked (even though it was possibly a life threatening matter). They told us to take her to an emergency clinic (which is very costly) 45 miles away. I called Nokomis Veterinary clinic and they got her right in with no problem. The vet tech Amy was very kind, knowledgeable and eager to help. Dr. Meghan was fantastic. She did a thorough exam and explained everything in detail. She was very gentle with our fur baby. After 3 injections, an IV and 2 take home meds we left with a kitty who felt much better and continued on to a full recovery. The bill was very minimal. I told him OK so I brought the birds in when I got in there they tested all three of their stools that's fine. I didnt understand why ? I thought just part of the exam, they came back and they told me everything was OK. The doctor picked each Bird up and she flipped him over and she looked under the wings. She looked at each one and she said they were fine. She didn't think they had any odor they just maybe needed to change their food. I said OK she said they only had one wing clipped on each side, maybe that was making them have a little balance problem she said would you like us to clip the other wing and I said sure so after she got finished the girl had the bill and I asked the girl for the bill she said oh I'll bring it out here for you so she walked me out to the receptionist and the bill was $507 for three healthy birds. They got one wing clipped on each bird because the other one was Done. They were very nice in the office seem clean but it wasn't worth $507.00 i was walking out, another person told me they tried to force them to do some test on their dog that they didn't come in for but did not let them and they weren't coming back either.. I feel they were dishonest and sneaky about the way they did their billing. She could've told me there was an extra charge for anything while I was standing there next to her no one did they just let me believe that was part of the $300.00 dollars for Bird physical and I will not be back!

My friend was also bed bound due to health issues. I went on Yelp looking for a mobile vet and Dr Clary was over within 2 hours with her assistant. They brought an IV and shots. Everything Buddy needed was brought with them. Dr Clary gave out her # and said to text if Buddy got any worse. She came over the next day to followup. Luckily, Buddy was quickly better after the first visit. Dr Clary now has an office in the Schnucks plaza on Lindell. She also makes house calls throughout the area. If you work during the day and don't have time to go to the vet, she can come to your house when you get home from work. I highly recommend Dr Clary for her professionalism and the flexibility she provides.

He crashed again in September 2025. This time an emergency and the old vet would not see him. I took him to Dr. Binder's who used to care for my dog's years ago and I adored. They had me bring him in immediately to VSS Animal hospital for critical conditions. Aspen was having an Addictions crisis. Dr. Binders team saved my dogs life.life and were very professional.
