Chicken Katsu Curry

Omg! So glad we finally tired this place. Got here right as the opened. Had our food in 5 min. I got the Kalua pig with Cabbage and my husband got the Loco Moco. Very good portion sizes. $36ish for that. You could very easily split a meal or get 4 meals out of these portions. When I tell you my car smells amazing right now... We sped home to try these. I do not like pork... not one bit, did I get it?!? ABSOLUTELY I did and couldn't stop eating it!!! This was incredible. Even the husband tried mine and was like yours is better! And that's after he demolished his loco moco, which was also PERFECT. Go check them out immediately! So glad they are super close!

Probably the best pulled pork I've had in town. Everything was perfect. Fast and friendly service and convenient to take home. I will be back to try other things, after have the pork and cabbage a few more times.

Aaaaaloha! Love to try food trucks because it features the best comfort food. I tried the combination, large portion nicely done in bento style. I had the Korean chicken and the crunch. Lovely, and then the sweet savory sauce around it melts in your mouth as you get to the juicy chicken. Perfect thickness. It's a perfect thing to go on a slider. And the kahlua pig with its Smokey flavor, yawzaaa! I am saving for my breakfast . I think it will be great pairing for hawaiian rolls and a bit of Mayo. I had lunch and breakfast all in one meal but hey if you want to finish the whole thing in one go, go for it! And why not? It so Broke Da Mouth delicious.

Spicy Korean chicken and kulua combo (order on DoorDash)

Wow! I am impressed! I haven't had good kalua since my college days at UW (they had the best kalua imo). I got the spicy Korean chicken combo with kalua. The chicken was a bit over cooked and dry at the edges but the flavor is so delicious. My first bit was the kalua which I was blown away but then after trying the chicken I keep going for the chicken more. Both are great but I think the chicken overpower the kalua a bit. The Mac salad was just okay. It had a bit of a sour taste? They're only open 3x a week so make sure to double check the hours before showing up.

"Spicy" Korean Fried Chicken

Mid week sunny afternoon...why not try out some Hawaiian-Korean fusion? I had seen some chatter on Facebook about this place, which had me excited to try it out and saw on IG that they would be open for dinner. We were greeted at the window and placed our order with a young man that seemed a little new to the game. Went with the Spicy Korean Fried Chicken and the Chicken Katsu Curry. Took a little while to come out, but was hot and fresh. The good, the bad, and the ugly... Chicken Katsu Curry wasn't bad. The curry had a pretty good flavor to it. The chicken may have been slightly overcooked. Would have liked to have seen a little bit of a bigger portion of the curry for the price. A cabbage slaw or mac salad is offered as a side with each entree. We opted for the cabbage slaw to offset the carbs from the rice and freshen things up a bit. It was thinly sliced and crunchy, but the vinaigrette was a little lacking in flavor. The "Spicy" Korean Fried Chicken had a crispy coating, but unfortunately the chicken was a bit overcooked and hard to eat. The sauce had little to no heat as well as lacking any real flavor. They are currently located at the Lacey Food Truck Depot. Hours are available via their IG. The food truck depot has a gravel parking lot as well as outdoor and indoor tables, best enjoyed on nicer, warmer days. There is a play place for the children. It is also a venue for vendor markets from time to time. Overall, a little disappointing. Hoping they can make some improvements and maybe expand their offerings--as I did hear the cook in there talking about some ideas. I would be willing to return and try other dishes, but will probably give them some time to make improvements.

Half Spicy Korean Chicken half non. Mac salad and rice

Been wanting to stop by here for sometime. I came about 1:30 wasn't busy at all. I didn't have to wait long for my food either. I got the chicken I requested half spicy and half non, also had the Mac salad as my side. The chicken tasted good and was still crispy when I got home. The Mac salad had a little too much mayo for my liking but it was not bad. I will come back and try the other dishes.

This was my first experience, and I will say the food is extraordinary. Very welcoming server who seated us right away. Restaurant was very clean and in good order. They have a bar area, but it was closed as they were still waiting on liquor license. Very tasty homemade tortillas chips and salsa to start off with. I ordered Chicken Enchiladas and wife ordered Chicken Fajitas...DELICIOUS! Very attentive server who checked in with us periodically. We ordered a Chicken Quesadillas to go for our daughter (she thought it was super good). I think the three meals, drinks, and refills came to around $70 (not including tip). Each meal was ~$20 and it was a good amount of food. Overall, a really good experience. Please support this local business - you won't be disappointed!

There were approximately 3 pieces of chicken- it was stuffed with refried beans and what appeared to be French fries? It lacked flavor and was just meh. My easy to please husband said, "that was the second worst burrito I have ever had". To add insult to injury when I ordered it the person working charged me 4 dollars more than what the menu listed. When I looked at the menu confused he changed the price to the correct price. Not impressed. There are too many good taco trucks on the area to be ripped off like this. Won't be back.

The burger meat was cooked and seasoned just right and the sauce on the burger....the chefs kiss! This burger is a standout in a land of mediocre small burgers. Fries were also very good and the fry sauce was delicious!! We are fans and will be back. Don't be discouraged by the lines- they are a well oiled machine and even though the food is cooked to order, they are pretty efficient and get the food out quick.

Perhaps I had unrealistic expectations after reading so much about how this is "the best" burgers…read morein Oly. After driving by dozens of times, we finally stopped. Food: The burger was good, but not great. The bun did its job well and didn't fall apart. The burger was thicker than a smash burger, but less than a quarter pounder. The beef was simply bland. It had either too little or no discernible seasoning to bring out the flavor of the meat. The cheese was nice and melty. The burger sauce was good. Honestly, we both decided we preferred a Sonic cheeseburger. (Sorry). The fries were simple, crinkle cut frozen potatoes. They also lacked flavor. We ate a few each and the rest went in the bin. Service: There was no line, so our order was promptly taken and the food came out quickly. Friendly service at the window. Ambience: it's a food truck. They have a pop-up canopy and a picnic table which we shared with other customers. Nice conversation, friendly people. Although I mentioned Sonic, it's clearly not the "best" burger in Olympia, but it is consistent. I like smash burgers and we have good options, but I'm still looking for a place that makes a thick, juicy, flavorful burger in Oly. So far, the best burger I've had is in Tacoma at Burger Seoul. The beef mixture includes brisket and is always full of flavor.

Food so good, I forgot a picture!…read more This place is very convenient and the service is always great. I ordered the Chile Relleno, flavorful with a little kick, the rice is fluffy and flavorful (I wish they served a little bigger portion). Boyfriend always orders the Torta which is larger than other places, a plus. The staff is always great and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. We'll be back.

I liked that he let us put as many vegetable additions and sauces on top of the meats . he also let us refill our horchata omg I am so impressed that the chef is also the server and the truck operator. actually insane work ethic. got to just applaud him for being able to run such a business. where the other brother ... I would go here again if I wanted a quick bite before or after work because this food truck is conveniently by a gas station near the freeway. The food truck is red, so it stands out when you have to make the sharp turn into the gas station parking lot where this truck is at. I miss directions a lot when I drive, but the color of this truck was really helpful in locating where it was at! I like that it also has a table and a bench for you to eat on, but there were soooo many mosquitoes. Ended up not finishing the meal here because I kept getting bitten and all that :( Bring bug spray and baby wipes before u come here!
