Breakfast burrito w/chorizo
Brian R.

So, this is the second time at Tacos Brothers. The first was at their trucks previous location. You can always judge a food truck by how long you have to wait and we were there about 20 minutes on a Sunday night. Between drive ups and uber orders they were very busy when we went. I tried a dish I hadn't before, but the recommendations I'd make is still the breakfast burritos. The kind where you'd have a second one just because the first was SO GOOD. I still had pics of the previous visit so I included them too! Im impressed with their portions and fairly full menu here. The only "negative" was the carne asada on our Sopes was too oily. This is the reason for the 4 instead of 5 star. Everything else was of the utmost quality. Would Recommend and would Love to go here again.

Carne asada burrito

Unfortunately, as of today, this is no longer my favorite go-to taco bus. When the owner is not working, the quality of food definitely goes down. I've been going to this taco bus for about four years now and I get the same things: carne asada burrito and carne asada tacos, so it's pretty easy for me to taste the difference in quality. I travel all the way on the other side of town and skip all of the other taco buses on the way because I considered this one the best; however, today, I realized it is only when the owner is working. Today I got the same old carne asada burrito I've been ordering for years. I took one bite, and everything was off... so I dissected it cause I was so disappointed that I couldn't eat it: here's why; the Mexican rice was hard and crunchy, and the carne asada was mixed with another meat. It was wayyyyy too soft to be carne asada and the texture of the meat just fell apart as it was very stringy. It also tasted like pork. It's sad but I felt duped. For $20 (15% tip included), it was probably the worst carne asada burrito I've ever eaten. The Mexican rice was so undercooked it was hard to eat cause all I tasted was crunchy undercooked rice. You can see on the picture that there were multiple pale pieces of the undercooked rice. Also, they were very stingy on the meat. Now, I know they've opened another location and their business is thriving, and I am soooo proud of them for that. However, it's sad that I gotta find a new taco bus to fix my carne asada burrito cravings. I wish the owner well in his business! But know that I will definitely miss your cooking when you were located behind Alberto's! That was the time when I fell I love with the quality of your food!

Was shopping in the area and craving a burrito. First time at the Taco Brothers truck. I was surprised at how fresh the.ingredients are, little disappointed about ground chicken and a tiny bit too much salt, reason for 4 star. Friendly service. I ordered the Maximo burrito with cream cheese. Yummy!

I'm sad to report the last few times we got Birria here, it was really lacking in flavor. Lots of food though, and good prices. Quick service.

Now y'all know one thing I'm always going to do besides eat some pho is get myself some birria taco's. Especially from The Taco Brother's Truck. Starters i had to get my birria taco's yes it comes with the Consomé . Let's get into the birria one juicy flavorful , makes you go wow Everytime you bite into it! The Consomé let's talk about flavor ok? It's not just about it being the broth ( we know) but we need that extra razzle dazzle and this right here will do it EVERYTIME! The imposibole burrito. You know you get 2 meat choices and baby that's a mega burrito to where you'll have left overs ! This burrito was stuffed and was bigger than my head i just know it was ! I'm talking rice , avocado your 2 favorite meats , cheese , cilantro !! I don't know how they even closed it but they did ! Make sure you get that Horchata too The service is always nice and welcoming no matter if you call in or head there yourself . It will always be warm, inviting and never rushed . This being a taco truck , they have two tables out there where you can eat outside if you have the time but listen I'll never wait to eat taco brothers I'm eating it right there on the spot ! If you love tacos, birria or burritos i promise you this is the only place you'll ever go to i promise ! Ambiance 10/10 Service 10/10 Food : if I'm lying I'm dying 100/10

Tacos adobada

Pretty good tacos! The Adobado (marinated pork) were even better than the Asada. Lots more on the menu that isn't in the photos, like carne asada fries.

We ordered over the phone in hopes of getting the food quick so we didn't have to wait. Unfortunately they didn't start my order until I paid which contradicts the whole point. It took a good while to get our food which didn't make sense when we were the only ones there. We got a Maximo burrito with green salsa and it was too spicy! The meat and rice in the burrito were also spiced up, it was overwhelming. I couldn't even eat half of it from being too spicey. Also ordered a torta and the hotdog wasn't fully cooked. The only good thing we got were the rice and beans. Will not be coming back. It definitely wasn't worth $50.

Inexpensive, authentic mexican food? Didn't expect to find any when we moved to the pnw, but dang! Food was fresh, hot, beautiful, flavorful, and exactly right, service was quick and friendly, it was the absolute best. We've tried a couple other trucks in the area but Tacos Brothers has been on my radar for a while and I'm mad it took us this long. Do not wait, order immediately!

I ordered the Wet Burrito (foreground of photo) and the Chile Relleno de Camarón (background). Both were, without exaggeration, the best we've ever had. The flavors were vibrant and balanced, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the spice profile had that perfect layered depth you hope for but rarely find. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size. We're already telling everyone we know to come eat here. This place is a gem.

Did have to request cutlery and it took a while to get the typical complimentary chips and salsa, but once they did them and beverages they kept up on it and checking in overall! Nice atmosphere and comfortable booths. Chicken Wet Burrito "Bowl" Overall 2.4/5. Chicken 3/5. Rice 3/5. Beans 2/5. Toppings 3/5. Size & value 2/5. Surprised the chicken was in strips usually it's shredded but that's fine by me! I order my burritos as a "bowl" usually without tortilla, cheese, sour cream. Top it with salsa and mix it together. The chicken breast had good seasoning and flavor, a little dry but not bad. The rice was fine but a little moist and not super flavorful, salty. The refried beans were thin and way to salty. I could taste salt after every bite. The lettuce and salsa were fine, nothing special, a sweet red enchilada style salsa rojo I requested, it usually comes with a green salsa verde.

The flavor of the chicken has almost a Smokey quality which seemed a Step above some other places locally. They must use some amazing Marinade. The beans in my Plate were just how I like them Smooth with a Hint of texture, not too much. The rice was moist and well cooked not to mention, flavorful as well. My wife got the nachos which she absolutely loved and only had 5 chips left over which, being the good guy I am, helped with. Seriously though the nachos were great. She added extra jalepeno which they had no problem doing for her . This was my first experience, and I will say the food is extraordinary. Very welcoming server who seated us right away. Restaurant was very clean and in good order. I ordered Chicken Enchiladas and wife ordered Chicken Fajitas...DELICIOUS! Very attentive server who checked in with us periodically. We ordered a Chicken Quesadillas to go for our daughter (she thought it was super good). I think the three meals, drinks, and refills came to around $70 (not including tip). Each meal was ~$20 and it was a good amount of food. Overall, a really good experience. Please support this local business - you won't be disappointed!

Food: The burger was good, but not great. The bun did its job well and didn't fall apart. The burger was thicker than a smash burger, but less than a quarter pounder. The beef was simply bland. It had either too little or no discernible seasoning to bring out the flavor of the meat. The cheese was nice and melty. The burger sauce was good. Honestly, we both decided we preferred a Sonic cheeseburger. (Sorry). The fries were simple, crinkle cut frozen potatoes. They also lacked flavor. We ate a few each and the rest went in the bin. Service: There was no line, so our order was promptly taken and the food came out quickly. Friendly service at the window. Ambience: it's a food truck. They have a pop-up canopy and a picnic table which we shared with other customers. Nice conversation, friendly people. Although I mentioned Sonic, it's clearly not the "best" burger in Olympia, but it is consistent. I like smash burgers and we have good options, but I'm still looking for a place that makes a thick, juicy, flavorful burger in Oly. So far, the best burger I've had is in Tacoma at Burger Seoul. The beef mixture includes brisket and is always full of flavor.
