HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. I began going to BA Family Clinic 30 years ago and was always pleased with Dr. Brian Coder. However, I brought my teenage grandson to the clinic. This is what we experienced: The MA weighed him but was in too much of a hurry to measure his height. She asked him to 'estimate' his height, even though he was not sure, she accepted his guess, even though the stadiometer was nearby. She did not make eye contact and then took his blood pressure over top of his thick hoodie (this can lead to significantly higher systolic and diastolic readings). Next, while we had been told he would see the Physician Assistant, a PA Student came in. She DID NOT listen to his heart correctly as she listened through the thick hoodie (the material significantly reduces sound quality making detailed auscultation difficult). She DID NOT check his abdomen for tenderness and DID NOT check his skin, muscle strength, or reflexes. She also DID NOT order blood tests to check for cholesterol, blood sugar, or urine tests. She DID NOT ask about family history or what medications he is taking. What she DID do was advise us that she allows her 16 year old son to stay up at night as long as he wishes and then sleep all day and recommended the same privilege for my grandson. She also ADVISED US that it is completely healthy to only eat one meal a day...in the evening (which, of course makes it impossible to get enough nutrients to be healthy and causes him to go through his day with no energy). She DISREGARDED his apparent lack of energy as he yawned in front of her demonstrating his compromised system since he hadn't eaten that day. Finally, we were told the originally scheduled PA would momentarily step in to make her appearance since the appointment was with her and so the clinic can comply with regulations that she oversee the student PA. The PA did not do any testing and simply lectured about drinking water all day and getting more sleep. The staff failed us. We won't be coming back. read more

Can never get ahold of anybody here constantly making me random appointments for one issue instead of just helping me they are a total money grab type of business. Do not go here there are other practices that care about what you need and will actually work with you and actually answer the phone or at least call back.. which they have never done. Jamie needs to go back to school for a refresher on what an NP actually is and does. Save your time and money also all the front desk girls are all rude and just need to quit since they act like they hate their lives read more

Idk if it's just the dr I have but I can never get my call to her. And takes days for a call back and they have no online services soo everything is over phone call which I don't really like. They seem to care and are trying their best for my over well care. read more

I have gone here for years loved this place back in the day if was so amazing from nurse to Dr Jim to the front desk ladies. it was like going to see a family member Dr Jim always call us gran baby and always want to give good advice and made sure we all where taken care of to the fullest and where always do compassionate. after he passed away tried to stick with them due to being there for 10 plus years but with Dr art. and Dr Jim and carol not being there no more the place is a chaos mess!!!!! management talks to you like your a dog treats you absolutely horrible.... they say they are sending referrals and they never get sent or you never get cb about the referrals or any test results nothing. the front desk people are so rude and unprofessional now they hate there job they are not caring and compassionate like before. I remember this clinic from back in the day my kids where sick at 7:50 pm they where closed but Dr still there pulled up in parking lot and they asked if we needed help said yes and they got the dr to see us that was there so we didn't have to go to the er that the type of Dr this use to be when they first open and I loved it was so family oriented and everyone so kind and nice really cared about there patient. however now going there they will leave you to die in pain with no help and never get a referral through never call you back. the office manager will talk to you all kinds of crazy yell at you and tell you to go find another provider and make up stories all because to say you couldn't get a call back from the nurse. it's so so sad to see this place Dr Jim built go to crap but if you asked years ago would have said this is the best place in town but now I will tell you run for the hills dont look back don't turn around just keep running and never go here this place is absolutely horrible!!! your better off going to a pack er you would be treated better there then here. read more

Awesome family clinic I highly recommend. The staff is wonderful and they all make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the door.

The doctors are nice but pushing their religion off on the child, praying for them etc. This is a Dr office and yes, they can do as they please, but we prefer to not indoctrinate our children. read more

Never have to wait long to get seen. Almost always get in same day if I call early enough! Dr. Brian is amazing! Robin is also awesome! Love that they have walk-in hours, later evening hours, and half Saturday's too! X-Rays and labs right there is so convenient! Took my sister-in-law one time cause she was having medical issues (she'd never been there) and they threw her in with me for my appointment, had her fill out new patient paperwork and saw her too! Luckily cause she had shingles! They called her the next day and got her back for meds and a steroid shot! Love this place!! Just not a fan of the office staff... Doc's are worth it though! read more

If I could put less than 1 star I would. Don't go here for your medical needs. They are virtually impossible to get ahold of for issues. They messed up my prescription, doctor referral, and I received a surprise $450 bill due to their coding issues. After two weeks of trying to get ahold of their billing department and only going to voicemail (leaving multiple unreturned messages) they refused to recode it. Jamie in billing was extremely rude and abrasive when I was simply trying to get a large billing issue squared away, arguing with me and denying the issues I was encountering. I am disappointed and extremely dissatisfied with the care I received. I would not suggest going here for your medical needs it has been a headache every step of the way. read more

We have discovered a fantastic family practice & must share. We switched insurance earlier this year, therefore had to find a new doctor. We first saw Dr. Brian Coder, extremely professional & knowledgeable. We(my two kiddos) have since seen all the PA's they have.. Karen, Jayme, Christina & Allison.. ALL so so nice, goes above & beyond for there patients & answers all our questions. They are opened late & on Saturdays.. a major plus! The front ladies, the lab & the MA's are the BEST! Always there for my questions & call backs. If your needing a great family practice that are professional & provide excellent care.. this is your office. And my kids LOVE it here!! read more

Our family of 6 have been patients of Dr. Coder for many years. Our whole family is on Sooner Care. I injured my knee and set up an appointment a week in advance. I took off from work and showed up and they refused to see me because they do not take sooner care adult patients anymore. Never once did they send any notices to us about this policy change. However, they just saw my wife who is on sooner care adults, but since I'm rarely sick I'm not officially in the system so they would not add me. They'll continue seeing my wife (I guess she is grandfathered in) and children, but not me despite the fact that Dr. Coder has been my pcp on Sooner Care and he is our family doctor. I'm glad I did not show up with a sick kid and have to find out they've changed their policies without notice and turn me away. The fact is, they could have added me to the system but the front manager told me Dr. Coder would not add me to the system. Not only is this poor customer service because they are not owning up for their mistake of NOT discussing this over the phone with me during scheduling or sending out prior notices to families, but what poor loyalty. Is this how they treat long-term customers? At the very least they should of seen me on their dollar since they made the mistake of not discussing insurance options at the time I scheduled. I'm disappointed in how Broken Arrow Family Clinic has treated me. I've put up with billing errors and endless problems with their office not faxing referrals without multiple calls to remind them, but this makes me want to take my family and change clinics. I've called and left two messages and asked for a return call. So far they have not returned my call. If you are looking for a family doctor, I would consider elsewhere. read more

Took my daughter for the first time today, switched from another doctor office I haven't been happy with. I was leery as the google reviews for this clinic are not very good, less than 3 stars. BUT I am so so glad I tried it anyway!! VERY impressed!! We got called back right on time! I've waited over an hour at other doctors offices. The NP was amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions! My daughter got an X-ray and blood work right there in office. We were in and out with answers and a plan in 40 mins! At our old doctors office we would have waited over an hour just to be seen for 5 mins and then have to go to another location for X-ray and another location for blood work. I am extremely relieved to have found BA family clinic for my kids! Looking forward to working with them in the future. read more

I chose this clinic as my primary care because they had a good location and hours. I had an initial appointment which seemed fine. I went in for a referral appointment in Feb because I needed to be seen by a couple of specialist due to an injury and I am on an HMO. I paid my copay had the appointment which seemed fine. The paperwork showed both referrals that I requested. I went on my way and had my first appointments with the specialist only to find out they were denied by my insurance. They did not turn in my referrals. This turned into a complete nightmare. It has taken six full months with a mountain of paperwork, hours upon hours on the phone and insurance appeals to get this resolved with my insurance company. They pushed me off for months not returning my calls, passing me around to several office staff and refused to let me speak to the owner to work this out. They were rude, had attitudes with me, and completely unprofessional. We are all human mistakes can and will happen but OWN up to it. I received the worst customer service ever to help get this resolved. I have since got a new primary care and will NEVER visit this clinic again. read more

They don't even deserve one star. Doctor and nurse complained about having to work on a Saturday..to me. Didn't call in my prescription to right pharmacy and argued with me about it. Intimating, rude and very unprofessional nurse. Manager would not admit to their wrong doing either. This clinic should fire "Shelly" for her attitude alone. I had a horrible experience here and will not go back or recommend to anyone. It only takes one sour apple to ruin the bunch. read more

Do not go to this doctor. Both me and my roommate are on the same medication for anxiety and depression and she has been calling the doctor for WEEKS without a response. The management is unprofessional and does not follow through. Doctor Carol never returns calls and my roommate is going through withdrawals and it's taking a huge toll on her. We will be filing a complaint with the state medical board. For those who know what depression can be like, suddenly stopping medication is the worst thing you can do and this doctor won't do anything. read more

Wow. Where to start. Just moved here and needed to get a pcp established. Husband has tons of medical issues including severe pain. They admitted they thought he was Dr shopping and referred him to pain management place that wasn't even in our network which is useless to us. (We have a ppo). That there is malpractice by state Board standards. Then with MY care nurse waited 3 wks to REQUEST info from previous Dr dr for a prior auth on an rx then lied to me about it. I didnt get my rx for a month due to this. Then lied to her manager saying she gave me my lab results when I waited for them or over a month. I have proof of all of it but even the office manager insinuated I was either forgetful or lying about all of it. Nurse Shelly messed with my health and very unprofessional in the process. If management wants concrete proof of this just let me know. Unless you don't care that your nurses are lying to you and about the patients while showing a lack of care for them. Very upset patient and sick of it. read more
