I've been pleased (mostly ) with the service and staff interaction. My first experience here was back in Covid Days. During shot mandation I contacted my physician's office, which in past had been very helpful . There were a lot of changes and, like so many, he ended up in private practice. But due to total uncooperativeness of the staff he was stuck with, out of desperation I called the Harvard office as my daughter was a patient there and had a Covid shot *scheduled*. I called, said who I was, that my daughter was a patient there and I'd like a shot too. The response--"of course we'll schedule you. Would you to go with her?" How often do you receive that kind of customer service.? Shortly after, I changed doctors. For a lot of us midtowners it's convenient. And it's complete. Since my last review, my current doctor passed away. He was a nice man and thorough. 4 Doctors since 2021? I changed practices to someone who is 5 miles from my home. He was young, enthusiastic and very amiable. Something has happened to my old practice. I'm sure I made a good decision switching practices. read more

Been going since 2010. Started with Dr Krautter and now with Dr Ivan. Both are excellent Doctors! The front desk staff is always sincere and delightful. On 11/7/24 8:30AM: Dr. T.S. Ivan's nurse was not delightful, as the rest of the staff. I'll say no more about her, since it's not worth typing about. Dr Ivan, is extremely charming and listens well. Cheerfully answers all of questions, in layman's language. He is willing to make me get better. He really Cares, a lot. read more

Had the same doctor here for over 25 years, then this new company takes over and I'm told I can longer see my doctor. Apparently this new "investment" co. is telling doctors who they can and can't provide care for. So, I chose another doctor here and she leaves after a few months. Harvard Family Physicians does not care about their patients. Regardless how much VIP they try to tout. I've been going there for 20 years. My doctor left them. They did not notify me, in a world of countless ways to communicate in 2025 All I need is my blood pressure medicine refilled until I can get a new doctor. Harvard even gave me one of their doctors. They even told me if you change doctors on your insurance, call them back , and they'll get me in. I did all that, called Harvard back, then they tell me, that doctor isn't seeing new patient for 2 months. Got released from a Dr I changed from on purpose (Dr dunlevy) for an appointment I rescheduled and went to. They refuse to refill mental health medication. Due to Dr. Daniel Stegman's failure to act with prudence and develop an immediate and comprehensive treatment plan for an acute issue, the problem has become chronic which has resulted in damage to my leg that is now considered irreversible. The pain is unbearable and causes me a great deal of disability of which there is no compensation. I do not recommend the practicing services of this doctor at Harvard Family Physicians in Tulsa OK to anyone who is seeking treatment. The office staff and nurses, though, are excellent. read more

I've been a patient of Dr.Giuliano's for 7+ years and could not recommend her more! She is so patient and truly kind and sincere. As a black woman, I haven't found another medical professional who treats me with the same kindness as she does. She hears me out fully, never in a rush to jump to the next patient (even when I can tell they are behind schedule and stupid busy!!) Everyone in the practice is so kind and makes you feel at home. This post is specifically geared towards Dr. Christy's office. I do realize that there are several doctors that office out of Harvard Family Physicians so please don't think that I'm speaking ill of those other doctors. I do believe that Dr. Christy's is a fantastic doctor. She's great with her patients she seems to really care about what is going on with them. What I don't like is her office staff. I have been dealing with some medical issues and it is been deemed that I need to have a procedure. As everyone knows having medical issues is not the easiest thing in the world to deal with. I'm the type of person that wants to get it done quickly so I can move on with my life. Apparently Dr. Christy's office staff thinks that you should draw things out. Before they would let me schedule any type of procedure they were very clear that I need to pay my full deductible, which was over $500. As a teacher, it was difficult for me to come up with the money but I did so. I paid for my procedure and was told that I would be called back the next day to schedule. That was on a Monday. After Friday had rolled around and I had not received a phone call, I called the office. I was then asked if a certain day will work but no date to be for sure. I was also told that I would be called back the same day and would have something scheduled. Which never happened! I'm very upset at the situation. I'm trying to rearrange my life to have a procedure that I really don't want to have. And I am pissed that these people are treating me as if I don't matter. Everyone knows in the state of Oklahoma teachers don't make any money so for me to come up with the money, work out my schedule, and find someone to take me to the hospital has been no easy feat. If you go to this doctor and you have the same problems please respond! People need to know that is not OK to treat patients like this. read more

Dr. Mahaffey is either racist, unqualified or incoherent. He literally recommended that my mom eat more McDonald's to establish a health weight. He could not or would not even translate my dads ultrasound results and instead prescribed him with 8 different type of medications. 8!!! Our family has gone to this man for 30 years and now that my parents are aging, I'm seeing clearly that this physician is more concerned with supporting the pharmaceutical industry than saving lives. read more

I had a horrible experience at Harvard Family Physicians. Yesterday I was there for an initial appointment to see Dr. Van and my appointment was scheduled for 11am. I was still waiting to see him at 12:15pm and ended up walking out because I had to get back to work. I wasn't even taken back to a room until I asked what was going on after waiting for 45 minutes in the lobby. I find this very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I took off two hours from work and was not paid so that I could see the doctor. So not only was my time wasted, but money was too. Very disappointed. read more

Harvard Family Physicians is a convenient, one stop shop that takes most major insurance plans. I first went to Harvard Family Physicians six years ago when I first moved to Tulsa. I did not do much research and accepted an appointment with the first available physician. That was a huge mistake, and there was obviously a good reason why he had so much availability. The man had horrific bedside manner. I actually refused to go to any doctor in Oklahoma for a couple years after that experience, because I assumed they would all be like him. I eventually needed to see someone again and a few friends suggested Dr. Larissa Giuliano at Harvard. It was tricky to get an appointment, because she is rather popular. It was absolutely worth the wait. She is an absolute gem. Since then, I've realized just how convenient it is that Harvard Family Physicians has its own lab, pharmacy, and urgent care. The moral of the story is, do your research and don't accept the first available physician. read more

Dr David Griffiths has been our family doctor for over 25 years. He is a wonderful caring doctor and takes the time to listen and help with whatever is going on. I have recommended him to many people and never had any negative feedback. The patient portal is very helpful for drug questions or small issues. read more

Today I called to get my husband an appt for a possible UTI. I was told instead that I had an outstanding balance of 60 dollars... I said OK, I will pay this when we come in. My call was then sent to the Billing dept. to which they said. You have a 60 dollar balance. I say again, we will pay this when we come in. She replies But we've sent you 3 notices... ok so I've not told them I will pay this bill when I come in and now they want to chastise me for not responding to their notices.. Is healthcare really becoming money over health... They lost 3 patients from our household.. Look for a different doctor's office... Dr. Chasteen is wonderful but the practice sucks! read more

I had the worse experience with Dr. Shoun. They routinely made me wait 30-45 mins past my appt time, the nurse was incredibly rude and sent my refill to the wrong pharmacy 3 times, they forgot to order a progesterone re-check on my baby until I reminded them (even though I am a high-risk pregnancy due to multiple miscarriages), and then there was the billing nightmare. They ordered over 20 lab tests before they even knew if my insurance would cover them. When I asked the nurse if I could talk to their billing dept, she first told me that she did all the billing and was back-logged and did not have time, then she changed stories on a separate occasion and said she knew nothing about billing. Meanwhile- I now have $3,000 in lab fees that I only consented to part of. The doctor would inform me of one test that they were going to draw blood for, then she would secretly tell the lab to test for 10 other things that I did not consent to or have knowledge of. One of the tests I did not consent to or know about was a drug test, which I found incredibly insulting. I would avoid Dr. Shoun and Harvard Family Physicians at all costs. read more
