Very quaint and clean little place. Not fancy, but great for the price point! The towels and washcloths were nice and plenty of them. Very quiet little town. Or far from 25, so easy to get to.

We were so pleased by our stay at the Broken Arrow. We had to change our original travel plans at the last moment and found the motel was just in the right place for us. It was a delight. The family that owns it are kind and thoughtful. The motel room was clean and charming.

Got caught in a sleet storm and was very pleased with this place we stumbled upon! Very kind gentleman up front. The room was perfectly clean, big bathroom with a nice shower, comfortable bed, and all the room accessories you'll need (fridge, microwave, and COFFEE)! Believe me, I've stayed in motels all over the place and could tell you nightmare stories, but this place is NOT one of those. The room was so comfortable and clean that I wasn't afraid to walk around barefoot (Which says a lot). They're open late witch was life saving considering we got in late in the night and every other motel was closed or absurdly expensive. I do suggest if you get in later than 8 that you grab food on your way to Springer because everywhere was closed by 9. We got a great nights sleep and will definitely be returning in the future!

Fully updated rooms with flat screen TV, microwave, mini fridge, free wifi

They know that there are only two choices in Springer, NM, and the other one is nice looking aves was full, so 'Oasis' my only option. I think they know this happens a lot. Clean room but very overpriced for something So basic and so 1960s. Very outdated in every way, but, again, clean and functional. Owner or (?) Manager interrupted me Every time I tried to speak. She cut me off rudely and I couldn't finish my sentences. Said, 'you aren't a hunter, are you?', like I would need to be our want to be. I don't and don't. Housekeeping guy knocked on my door trying to get in Before checkout time. I informed him that it was Not 11am yet. His response? 'I'm sorry, I'll come back later'?? NO. He told a customer paying way to much for this 1960s time machine motel, 'well, I'll expect you to be out by 11!'. When I saw him outside, I just stared him down. Tried to go to the office to complain about that and the fact the the advertised Internet access did Not work at all, but the manager keeps the door locked and is often Gone. I just thought to myself, Screw It, cut my losses, and moved on down the road.

It was fun to wander around and look at the old photos and artifacts, plus the downstairs hallway with rooms named for some famous guests who stayed at this old adobe hotel during its wild heyday. Food was pretty good. Had a salad and added a chili relleno for $5. It was very well prepared, although the salad of mostly spring mix, a few cucumbers and tomatoes was not worth $14. Partner had a steak--said it was ok. "Seasonal vegetables" were just plain kernal corn. Giving this place three stars for food, but the historic charm is the real reason to give it a try. The restaurant was only open Thursday through Saturday in February, so check hours if you want to eat. You can also just stop by and take a look in the lobby and parts of the hotel. The staff doesn't mind.
