I want my son to be excited about going to the library. What they have there for children to play/enjoy is one felt board, two kids computers, and a couch. And children's books of course. But I want to be able to go to the library to play/read with my child not chase after him because there's nothing to entertain him so he resorts to just running around. They do have a preschool reading time on Wednesdays at 10. My son was too young to enjoy it, but the other children seemed to be having a good time!

The librarians are friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable of the collection. They can offer additional suggestions for you to read when you return a book you really liked. The collection is rich and diverse, and the children's area is cheerful, comfortable and has eye-catching displays of the newest books. There is a 5-book limit per patron, but the little ones always see more that they want to read...which brings them back, week after week. The Story Time for pre-school is professional, organized and keeps even the toddlers' attention. There are also programs for teens and book clubs for adults. The Catoosa Public Library is really a wonderful place that is a credit to the community.
