2.5 Stars is for a reason. Buyer Beware DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! After years of repeated marginal customer service and required return trips to meet their demands for tag/title, I will never step foot in this tag agency again. It unfortunate as they are located 1/2 mile from my business but they always complicate the issue and make outrageous requirements to get a tag/or title Last three incidents: 1. had check made out in name to Oklahoma Tax commission. It is now Service Oklahoma. They refused to accept the check, even when I revised to Service Oklahoma for Payee and they demanded I return to my office for new check. Any Bank would accept that check revision. This is a ludicrous demand by them. 2. They misspelled my last name when entering a outboard motor title, using the letter "h" rather than "k". When I learned of the error about two years later I went back to them and they said the application looked like a "h". My drivers license (which I presented at the time) with same address as title clearly show a "k" . OK mistake made how do we resolve? Them to me "you need to contact the seller of the outboard motor and get a notarized affidavit from him stating he sold the motor to Scott ***k not a Scott ***h. WTF??? I have no idea where this guy is ore even how to get in contact with him anymore. Are you kidding me? I took it to another tag agency and for $13.00 it was changed. 3. The last straw. I bought (2) jet ski's in Virginia from friends who live there. The ski's are still in VA and we will meet up later in May for an Exchange. When I first brought in the titles, they told that since they could not personally verify the VIN, I would have to get a form signed/notarized by the seller stating that was the VIN. So I mailed forms to Virginia, got them back and went to get titles. The girl then proceeded to do the work, completed one, then on second said "We have a problem". What is it? When the seller initially signed as seller, he dated it 1/15/24, accidentally putting 24 instead of 25 as we all do after the 1st of a new year. He put a slash through the 4 then wrote of 5 for "25" and even initialled the correction. (see picture below). Paperwork on other title and trailer title all dated same day, same ink in 2025. Honest mistake by seller on 1st signature on the paperwork Her Problem - "This title has been altered and I cannot issue a new title". The "alteration" was a handwritten correction on a sale date which was made out of habit since you been dating everything '24 for a year. "Ma'am you clearly can see it was an honest mistake,caught as soon as it was done." IT DID NOT MATTER TO HER! Her requirements for a solution - "You need to contact the seller and have them get a new replacement Virginia title in their name, and go through this process all over again". Bullsh!t!!! I walk out, go to another tag agency and NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER! Got a title issued in 15 minutes, no questions asked. THEY HAVE 2.5 STARS FOR A REASON. BUYER BEWARE!! The manager at this location threw my autistic sister and mother out of the facility before they could finish their business because another customer there decided to cuss at my sister and she didn't immediately back down. The manager threatened my mother and sister with the police for simply not accepting that MAN'S abuse. Sexism is the only way to describe this. The manager told my mother that that man's behavior was excusable because he's on the spectrum, but somehow the same understanding could not be extended to my family, which were not the ones to start the altercation to begin with. The quality of service here is dependent on who happens to wait on you. I was there to get a real ID and had called ahead to make sure I had everything required. I had also check the state's website and it was in agreement. All set, right? Not so fast! When I got there one lady said I MUST have a birth certificate and another, barely 10' away said I MUST have a passport. Plainly obvious that whoever owns this business needs to spend a lot of time training. As to the state's website contradicting what they were saying... one lady said she didn't make the website and didn't care what it said. I drove home and got my birth certificate. When I returned, it did go fairly quick and I was out in about 15 minutes. I had a very bad experience here many years ago and have been driving to Owasso Tag (from south Tulsa) for the last 15 years. I read a few positive reviews about Garnett Tag and decided to give them another chance. Never again. I have a new car on order and when it arrives, I'll be back at Owasso Tag. My guess is, if you are a frequent customer, or they know you, you might get acceptable service. Otherwise you may have an experience similar to mine. read more

There was not a single customer in the place but 6 employees that were too busy playing on the computer to work. It is no surprise to me that this agency has a two star review. The attitude of the women is ridiculous. I called to make an appointment to get a license made, they told me to come right now. So when I got there they failed to tell me I was coming there so I could put my name on a LIST to get my license made. Two teenage/ early twenty girls talking AT me at the same time telling me it's first come first serve is not okay. Their teenager attitudes did not help me respond calmly in any way. I usually choose this location because it's not as busy. Previous visits have been quick enough for me to disregard the poor customer service. More recently, service is particularly rude, and takes 2+ hours for a Real ID. "Machines are slow". That's fine. What's not is dealing with an annoyed employee at this place is commonplace. Most of them are stuck on bad attitudes. They are selective in whom they are most helpful. Unless you ask direct questions, they will passive aggressively send you on your way empty handed. I have always had a good experience at this tag agency. I happened to just be looking for their phone number today and saw all the negative reviews and decided I needed to speak up. I try to go during non-typical busy times like not first thing in the morning or durning the lunch rush and I have never had a long wait. I recently had an expired drivers license and they were out of appointments but went ahead and let me wait at the end of the line anyway, and actually took 2-3 others after me as well. VERY POOR / RUDE SERVICE On 5/13 I went to ask to renew my Driver License and/or get new Real ID, I was told by the the person who took care of me I need it both and she told me to bring required docs for my real ID next day. I pay for my license and next day I came a got my real ID so I pay TWICE, after I receive my Real ID and License they were both already expired. I went back and Shelly with red Glasses who runs the office was extremely rude when I ask why they told me to get both. I ask for refund, she gave me her attitude and told me she couldn't help and the longest I talk and complain the longer I was suppose to wait to get my problem fix. I was asking to her if me paying twice was their mistake why no refund back. She rudely turn around and walk away. This is not about the card being expired instead about her worker making me pay twice and giving the wrong advice. Shelley for people like you we are where we are in this world, you need some manners and provide a better service. Worst customer service I have ever seen. The people there were very rude pretty much accused me of having insurance card but not having insurance because it didn't pull up in the system. So I had to go to my insurance company to get a letter stating I had insurance even though I had a card...Not my problem that your system is defective, I don't appreciate being accused of not having coverage even though I had a card by stating "some people " Will pay one month of insurance to get the card and then they don't pay the rest. Terrible customer service. I went once to get my DL and had a not so pleasant visit. Barely spoken to during the process of getting my DL and pic done. Not impressed at all. Went again to register my car that was from out of state. First she said I wouldnt get an OK license plate until I had my car title. I told her there is a lien at the credit union and she said well until I pay it off I cant get OK tag? really? so what was I there paying 140 bucks for?? THEN...I was told I had to come back with a different registration because what I had wasn't a real registration. It was all I had and I explained it was used for other things as REGISTRATION. No one cared...she was probably glad she didn't have to do work. The atmosphere in that place is terrible. So I drove STRAIGHT over to Central Park Tag Agency on S Elm. I spoke to two women who were very nice. They had my car registered and a NEW PLATE ON MY CAR in 10 minutes. Do yourself a favor and find a different agency to go to. Terrible experience, the speed of getting things done was good. However, I would rather wait in line all day then put up with the attitude that Miss. Pink Hair gave me. I cannot speak for the other ladies there. But, all I did was simply ask if they could take a credit card payment over the phone, (from a family member) because I did not have as much cash on me as I thought. And she responded like I had just asked the stupidest most insulting question ever. It's already embarrassing enough that I don't have enough money on me, but she raised her voice and announced it to everyone. I mean a simple," I am sorry Ma'am, but we can't do that" would have been fine.
