From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and kid-friendly, which immediately puts both children and parents at ease. The entire staff is incredibly professional, compassionate, and genuinely caring. ALL the Doctor's are phenomenal. They take the time to listen to all concerns, answer questions thoroughly, and provide clear, practical advice. What I appreciate most is their ability to connect with my children, making them feel comfortable and safe during check-ups and vaccinations. The office is well-organized, and appointments are easy to schedule, with minimal wait times. I highly recommend Agoura West Valley Pediatrics to any family looking for exceptional pediatric care. They have created a warm, supportive environment where my children receive the best possible medical attention.

He gave my son ZERO prep for a nose swab and then very aggressively shoved it up his nose, making my son cry and thrash in reaction. He then used a tongue depressor very forcibly and without warning to do a swab of his throat so aggressively that my son immediately threw up in reaction to it. My son is three years old, and while I understand medical tests can be difficult for them, if the doctor had given me ANY CHANCE to prepare my son for what was about to happen, this could have gone differently. My son was crying, asking what was happening to him, and said he didn't want anyone to touch him anymore. This is not how a three-year-old should feel after a doctor's visit. This type of experience is what makes children scared of Drs. and is completely unnecessary. I will say, outside of this experience, we have loved this practice--especially my son's two primary care providers (although they have both left the practice at this point--sadly). There are so many wonderful doctors and nurses here, but this experience with Dr Weidmen was SO BAD that I had to let other parents know that he should be avoided if possible.

She…read morehad been spiking fevers for several days, as high as 105, without any real cold symptoms. Given that she was hospitalized and intubated at 13 months, we were obviously terrified and I advocated for a full workup. I specifically asked for a urinalysis to rule out a UTI. Marci refused and told me, "kids this age don't get UTIs." She told us we needed to ride out the virus. After SEVEN days of my daughter continuing to spike fevers and be in pain, I took her to CHLA tonight. She has a UTI. A urine test may have been inconvenient and uncomfortable, but it would not have hurt to rule it out. When a toddler has ongoing high fevers without an obvious source, sometimes you have to look beyond the most obvious explanation--especially when a parent is telling you something isn't right. I specifically advocated for the test that ultimately diagnosed my daughter, and I was dismissed. If this review helps even one child avoid suffering for an extra week because a parent's concerns are taken seriously, then it's worth writing. Shame on you, Marci.

No call, no text, no email either time. Both times I was pushed to a provider I'd never met, one of whom approaches vaccine schedules differently than the doctor I specifically chose. You don't pick a pediatrician for a newborn and then accept a random substitute. That's the whole point of picking one. Found out the office doesn't do its own scheduling. It's handled by a centralized team elsewhere. So the staff in front of you can't fix anything and the people who can are unreachable. It's a disconnected company, and every basic interaction takes triple the effort it should. New parents -- your time and energy are finite right now. Spend them somewhere that can manage a calendar. Look elsewhere.

The receptionist (with lashes) consistently rude, unhelpful, and lacks basic professionalism when interacting with patients. Simple questions are met with dismissive attitudes and lacks any kindness. This is especially disappointing given that the physicians appear to be highly qualified. Unfortunately, the front office does not reflect the same standards. The front staff represents the practice, and their behavior leaves a very poor impression. I strongly hope the doctors and management address this issue, as no patient should be treated this way in a medical setting. I am pretty sure she has no business working in the Medical office and has no education whatsoever.

Plenty of parking in the structure and the open lot behind it (free for the first 1.5 hours) but be prepared to walk a little since Costco customers keep the parking lot pretty full. For a much shorter walk, there is also a drop off location and paid Valet parking behind the building. Venue 4 stars: Beautiful building. Access via stairs on the side or an elevator behind the building. The lab which I visited has a separate entrance directly across the offices. Staff 4 stars: Most of my interaction was automated. Lab visits are walk-ins but you do need a referral from your UCLA doctor before you go. Once you enter, you sign in on a tablet and will then start getting text alerts on your phone. When you turn comes, the text will tell you which station to go to. Once you arrive at the station, you are greeted by a lab technician who logs you in and performs the necessary lab work. My lab technician was polite and efficient. Wait Time 4 stars: I am not sure if it is always this good, but I only waited 10 minutes. The Bottom Line 4 stars: A solid option in a pleasant and convenient location. Highly recommended!

I used the search tool from my insurance website to find a doctor at UCLA Health believing I had coverage. I didn't know I was "out of network" until I received a bill a month after my visit! Yes, I made a mistake. But as a consumer, navigating the system is not something I do everyday. The "professionals" who book your appointment, who do this work everyday, won't check your coverage and don't care. I filled out pages of pre appointment forms and uploaded a copy of my insurance card and had no reason to think I wasn't covered. It's going to take me some time to recover from this bill for ONE OFFICE VISIT. Meanwhile, I still pay a lot for health insurance, like everyone else. Make sure you're covered!
